It was , as with most nintendo products, expensive and it doesnt even come with a wall plug . It just has an attached USB cable and you need to provide your own power source. It also charges at a very slow rate...

It charges the controllers just fine but the design is such that it's hard to take the controllers out if all 4 are in at the same time. I ended up returning it and getting something different.

If you do not purchase additional joy sticks then I would highly recommend this tool.

It has a weak and outdated Micro-USB port that is defintely not up to snuff with powering thid unit. It has a nice compact design, but funtionally it only worked about 4 months after use. Green sill say a joycon is charged when it is not. Do not buy this.
