It charges up to four joy-con. Any combination such as two rights and two lefts or if you have all rights or all lefts. Also its small so it doesn't take up alot of room.

Great charging system
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Doesn't take up much room, it's an easy way to charge up all your controllers, especially if you're getting a 3rd or 4th set. I mainly just leave one set on the handgrip and the other set on side of the Switch itself (where they charge anyway) and switch them out as needed. However, that works until it's taken out of the dock and used as a portable unit, then you can end up with both sets of controls dead. Since I plan on getting the yellow controllers as a third set, this just seemed like the thing to get. Charges great, with charge indicators on top.
