Easy to slide them in and out, and you can even partially slide out a controller that is already charged, and it will hold its position.

Also, this is designed to be plugged into any existing, powered device with an available usb port (like the switch dock), it does not come with a power supply of it's own. This is fine with me, as I have more than enough lying around the house, but definitely something to consider.

I kept running into the issue of having one fully charged set of controllers and the other set we had was always on low battery. Now I can charge them all together!

This thing has been a blessing. It charges my joysticks and they're always ready to go at the same time. Definitely worth buying.

I finally purchase this on Black Friday and it's so convenient. It tells me when it's charging and when it's done charging. Now I can charge all my controllers at once instead of constantly swapping them out. Definitely recommend it for people with multiple JoyCons.

The leds on top make to clear when your JoyCons have finished charging. The only minor hassle is needing to remove the JoyCons covers to charge them, but that’s a design issue on Nintendo’s part and nothing to do this charger.
