ZR & ZL buttons need to face each other!!!

I almost returned because my joy cons were not charging. I realized that there is an orientation diagram on top. The ZL and ZR buttons have to face each other! You can orient the joy con so that these buttons are facing outward, and I realized they don't charge. Bad design. Recommend that these instructions are better outlined.
