Some commenters say theirs had defects, but most if not all of the ones I read, the company replaced the item for them. I have not had any issues with mine so no complaints there! Reputable brand.

It allows you to charge up to 4 joy-cons at one time. It's great to have when you need to charge up the joy-cons before having family and friends over.

It keeps the kids from having to fight over the Switch to charge their Joy-Cons, which is always good
