Shape is a little different than the one that comes with the switch, but not very noticeable. Note - this is not the one that has the secondary battery to keep your joy-con charged.

This has different contours in the grip compared to the original product. There is a nice soft rubber material with texture, but otherwise I dislike the feel of the grip. The latch for holding the joycons is loose and they can fall out.
