It's a good product overall. The joy-cons fit well! The only downside is that there is none of that original "resistance" when you slide the joy-cons in, which makes me think that they have a better chance of sliding out while playing :(

This was suggested by Wirecutter and I agree with their review that this is more comfortable and spaced better for joycons. I bought this to pair with an extra set of joycons for my Nintendo Switch to have two-player games, and I find that these are more comfortable to hold than the grip that comes with the switch. It's not that the OEM grips are bad, but these are better.

Great item for my grandson!!!!. He loves it so much and I’m very grateful for having him in my life. This Joy-Con Comfort Grip is really great for the Nintendo Switch. He uses it everyday. I recommend you buy this.

For what it does, it seems fine - the joy cons slide in and the grip is comfortable. However it differs from the stock grip in a few key ways: 1) The bottom is slightly rubberized, this improves grip, but time will tell about longevity 2) My joycons were a little tight going in and out of the grip 3) The slots for the joycons are all plastic as opposed to the stock grip having metal rails. This is probably the reason for 2) above. So overall dock a star for all of the above. However it's cheaper than the official grip, so yeah. You get what you pay for.

This simple accessory is a must for anyone who spends any time at all playing their Switch on a larger screen. The grips are comfy and lined with a soft touch material for non-slip grip. The unit itself could be a touch wider but when you’re making an accessory for a device also used by children, I suppose there are compromises. Inexpensive and effective. I can’t recommend it enough.

When we bought Minecraft we realized that we needed another one of these controllers. Now we can have two people playing Minecraft together! The controller has a different feel than the one that came with the system. It feels more sticky. The family is divided on which style controller they prefer. However, we are happy to use either controller!

I’m old school and want your typical game console remote when playing with the kids. The design, for myself, feels a little goofy since the ‘handles’ are more vertical instead of spread out. Overall, it serves its purpose.

Works and feels better than original replacement. Joy-Cons smoothly click in and out of place with minimal effort. Rubberized portions appear substantial and provide better grip.
