I wish this had an internal battery, but it's only a grip for the Joy-Cons. PowerA sounds misleading at first, but just know that it's the name, not a function of the grip. The back of the grip has a more rubberized texture than the official Nintendo grip that comes with the Switch. I don't think it's necessarily better or worse, but some may like it more if their hands get sweaty during marathon gaming sessions.

My kids wanted another grip so they would quit fighting over the one that came with their Switch. This was the closest that I could find. Now they fight over this one as they prefer this one more. I can’t lose for trying.

A friend of mine recommended this to me since I wanted a second "full" controller. I think it feels much better than the Nintendo brand grip that comes with the switch. Now it's a fight over who gets the PowerA controller.

This is a good grip being aftermarket. I can't decide if i love it or like it enough but it does the job and does it well. I am an adult and play with my kids. This feels slightly narrower than the Nintendo one (at least to me) but has a nice anti slip grip. It is a different grip and i can tell by holding it but for the price (considering how much nintendo items are) worth it!

Has a rubber bottom which makes it super comfy! Not to heavy. Definitely a good attachment if you play super smash bros.

These are way better than the OEM one, it's a little longer which is convenient and more ergonomic when holding. The part underneath actually has a rubberized grip material which I prefer compared to the slippery official Nintendo one.

Perfect device to turn your switch play into a more traditional experience. Easier than holding the switch up or handheld if you have a tablet or another surface nearby. You can't beat the price either.

Bought the Nintendo Switch for my kids for Christmas and the bundle came with one of these, but both kids wanted one. Its just like the one that came with the console. I also bought extra controllers, now each kid has their own.

The Comfort Grip is a great accessory to use with the Joy-Cons. This truly feels solid, and robust. I don't worry about the kids using this and putting the Joy-Cons into and out of this.

Simple and easy-to-use grip for the Switch joy-con controllers. Although this grip does not charge the controllers like the Nintendo brand one, it works perfectly as a controller grip and is very comfortable to use for longer gaming sessions.

Smaller than the official Nintendo one, so that is the only draw back.

Make playing games a lit more ergonomic than just using without the controller. Has a nice grip on it as well.
