This controller grip is extremely comfortable with the Joy Con controllers. I wanted to get a second grip for playing multiple games so everyone could have one and this was the around the same price as the official Nintendo one that came with the Switch, so I thought I would try it. I really like the way the texture of the grip feels and the size feels good in my hands. I like it more than the one that came with my Switch because that one feels like it could slip out of my hands but the texture on the comfort grip keeps that from happening! Overall, it’s a very good value!

Way better than the grip that came with the switch. It’s more bulky and thick and has a grip on the handles making the overall gaming experience better. It feels like you are playing on a normal controller.. no joke!! I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a a controller grip for their joy cons or just needs an extra grip.

Let me start off by saying that I originally owned a Switch Pro Controller before purchasing this item. While it was a great product overall, I wasn't completely sold on it due to the hefty price tag attached as it, in my opinion, wasn't a massive improvement over the Joy-Con Grip included free with the Nintendo Switch. Now, that's not to say that the Joy-Con Grip is without its frustrations as it does introduce a rather cramped feeling during long play sessions due to its design. After researching this particular item via numerous anecdotes by consumers across various websites, I decided to make the purchase... and I couldn't be more glad that I did. This product has completely alleviated that cramped feeling that was all too commonplace with the original Joy-Con Grip. There's not much change in the overall design aside from the backside where all the improvements were made; the new texture delivers a smooth yet hardened rubber feel, and there's a modified ridge instead of the original rounded one right beneath the shoulder buttons that has made a world of difference in how the grip is held to the point where I would dare say it feels more natural than the Pro Controller or other controller options currently available for the Nintendo Switch. I personally purchased the black variation of this item, so it hasn't delivered any disappointment whatsoever in that regard, but I can confirm that the red variation does not match up to the Neon Red Joy-Cons and that the backside is indeed colored black instead of red. The overall feel and quality of this product is quite a few leagues above that of the original included grip, so it's quite surprising to hear a contrary report from the other review posted here. With all that said, I absolutely recommend Power A's Comfort Grip to individuals who are content with the original Joy-Con Grip provided by Nintendo as it only delivers improvements on the design. For folks looking for alternatives to the Switch Pro Controller, I strongly recommend giving this item a try as it delivers quite the competent controller experience at a very modest price tag.

I'm someone who enjoys minimalistic and lightweight controllers that fit easily fit into my hands, and this classic joy con grip is exactly that. I have some texture issues and this smooth plastic feels just right. I can also be a bit of a gremlin and lose things, this is also very affordable to replace.

I guess this one isnt Nintendo branded on the controller. Its a little diff than the one that came with my switch. But it was Nintendo branded on the box. And I like the feel of it better. Its slightly larger but not much and has rubbery grip padding on the bottom. Its good!

Had the comfort grip about a month, this is the second I own, one came with my Switch. Bought this second one, because I already had two sets of the Joy Con controllers so it is a much better bargain than buying any of the full size controllers.

Got this to play supersmash and its been great. The grip is a lot more comfortable compared to the controller that came with our switch since its designed to really fit in your hand. For sure buying another one of these with our next controller set!

This was a great buy, especially considering the price point I got it at - it makes gaming with my switch super comfortable, it just takes a bit of getting used to to charge the joy cons separately since they aren't on the main switch to get energy from...

Great value especially when compared to the official Nintendo one that really only offers charging but for double the cost. I find this grip both functional and comfortable and is good to use if you don't have a bunch of pro controllers lying around. I use this little gem frequently and find it to be just as good as its official counterpart but the overall reduction in price should really lead you to purchase this product.

Lost my first joycon "dogear" holder. So I was very glad to be able to get a replacemnet at an affordable price. So far seems qell made and feels fine in hands.
