It work well, when I first bought it. Then, some time have passed. The left thumb stick is started to drift and sometimes unresponsive. Otherwise for the price its not bad.

They don't tell you initially, but this product isn't exactly necessary unless you are going to play with more than two players. Not bad to have, and it's durable, but not necessary for 1-2 players.

Do not buy. I have been using the controller for no more than maybe 2 hours a day and the left thumbstick cracked on the base making it useless. Just spend the money on the pro controller.

After an hour or so of game play the remote moves the character forward and it flickers across options by itself. Will be returning to exchange for a new one, just hoping I got a lemon.

Cool design! But not a fan of the buttons , the joystick feels to loose and wobbles and the buttons stick to much . Seems like a cheap quality for a remote to me.

it's obviously not the pro-controler. No vibrations nor amiibo detection. But it really gets the job done (hop, skip, jump, run, etc...). Basically, for kids ;-)

I figured for the price having a cable connection would be fine, once I got home and hooked it up the USB cord is 3’ short from reaching my couch.

If you ask me nintendo is scamming people by adding all of these needed accessories that are pretty much needed. Its a marketing scheme that insults the fan.

Barely Used and Left analog doesn't work

I'm a grown man, had the switch over a year and barely use it. This "spare" aftermarket remote is kept in package; worked the first 5 times I used it. And I am not upset about getting a lemon, I understand things can break. The problem is that since this remote broke after the return to store window time frame I reached out to the manufacturer because it was still under "manufacturer's warranty". PowerA requested I upload pictures and opened up a case; which I did on NOV6, 2018... today is January 11 and I was assigned case number: 104416 As per their website, here is my case status today. Left analog button in switch remote stuck in down position #104416 2 months ago Open #104416 2 months ago 2 months ago Open Save yourself the hassle, do NOT buy this remote, spend the extra few bucks because this company will not back their product. No response from them, nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Still open after over 2 months

    Left joystick jumps all over

I bought a pro controller, use it most of the time. I bought this wired controller to have a second controller. Worked for about 5 hours of light play time, then all of a sudden the left joystick is jumping all over the place without touching it. It's really frustrating, I don't have kids and take care of my stuff. I tried to do the calibration and joystick reset via switch settings to no avail. Please, if you are reading this, don't by third party, just spend the extra 40 bucks or whatever and get the actual Nintendo branded controller that won't break on you. =(

    Joystick problem

I don’t know if I’m the only one with this problem but there’s a problem with the joystick. There’s a constant pressure on the characters to move down for some reason. If I move the joystick around, it temporarily stops. But then the characters start slowly walking down again. It’s really annoying.

This remote is not worth the money that they're asking. It feels like it could break in the smallest hands. The cable is not very long at all you have to sit very close to the TV on the system if you want to play. The triggers on the controller feel very cheap and don't have no click to them. just save up and get the pro classic controller.
