Dollar store batteries a must. Ac adapter cord too short.

Initially I planned to plug this power bar into console, but that didn't work. There must be something wrong with the cord I got. The battery mode (I'd recommend lithium) has made playing Just Dance so much better! The wide angle worked like a dream, and so far I've gotten well over 10 hours of play time.

This product is not too expensive and works ok, but can be better.

I have a projector in my basement, and it takes about 25 feet to project, so I needed some kind of solution to make the sensor bar work so far from the system. Using the battery powered option I was able to set this up and use it, but I dont think the IR lights inside are good enough to reach 30' as advertised. The hand/cursor that appears on screen when I use it flashes nonstop on screen, as if its recatching the IR signal several times a second. Ive tried adjusting the sensor bar, but it hasn't helped. My games are still all playable so far, so everythings ok i guess...but none of the games require pointing at the screen... If you need something 10' or less this should work for you, but I would rather have gotten a wire extender over this for a 15' or more solution.

This device has the cable for the wii so it will pull power from wii. Also has wireless function but drains batteries fast. So be aware of that when purchasing this unit. Helps with smaller and larger rooms because you can adjust the sensor width.

Bought it because I snapped the original - good replacement. Larger than the original for the Wii but easy to replace and seems to get better coverage in a bigger space. Have not used wireless feature yet but it's nice to know it exists

Better than original, this product seems to been upgraded. the original one didn't seem to work as efficient as this one.my grandson enjoys the wii, his sensor bar broke n Beat Buy in Wooster,Ohio didn't have in stock so they ordered for me

Needed a replacement for an old one that the cats chewed the cord off of and got a much better device than the old one at a great price. As an added bonus, it works with both the older Wii as well as the new Wii U.

I would say in short that this bar is totally worth the money. I didn't like the dinky sensor bar for the Wii, and that I have a WiiU I don't need it as much but it is helpful whenever I want to enjoy a classic Wii game.
