I bought the PowerA USB Charge Cable for PlayStation 4 in black, and it’s been a reliable accessory. The cable charges controllers quickly and fits securely. It’s a good length—not too short and not overly long—so it’s convenient to use while playing. The build feels sturdy, and it works exactly as expected. Great value for the price, and definitely a useful addition for any PS4 setup.

This cable has lasted quite a while, but it was the last cable. I wish they wouldn't discontinue things

This works great with my PS4 controller. Great quality at an affordable price. I bought two, so I could charge two controllers at the same time. They were cheaper than 3rd party aftermarket cables.

If you want to play competitively I’d recommend genuine PlayStation cables/accessories. With the competitive nature of these companies, they try to make sure their stuff works better. Typical comp grinders.

First up I too thought this USB charger cable for PlayStation 4 was made by Sony. It isn't but if you ignore the misleading title description & read further down you see the item is an Officially Licensed Sony product. Also the pictures online are from an earlier Power A model that's probably been discontinued. The older model looked better. What you will receive is a pretty basic black 6.5" USB charging cable in a cheap blue box. There are No Gold Connectors so right away I was let down. The older model also seemed to have an added sleeve on one side of the cable which is gone now too. Overall I decided to return these. As an aside to add insult to injury I had ordered two of these on a Tuesday for $9.99 ea. only to see them go on sale a day later for less. So not only did I not get a Sony cable but I got a cheaper version for full price lol. Anyway I'm posting New Pictures of the item you will receive if ordering these PS4 charger cables. Enjoy!

Works perfectly fine as a Micro-USB cable. Does what you'd expect.

To be clear, this 1 is for Best Buy, not PowerA. But to some extent Sony. There is a certain type of micro USB required to sync the controller with a ps4 or PC. It's not a standard cable. The last one I bought just didn't work. You can only get an official one with a ps4 system, or so I thought. So when I saw this I was ecstatic. The listing says Sony, I did not think to zoom in on the image to see the small PowerA logo. That image is not even the same box I received (attaching my own image, showing logo at the bottom). That said, this did sync with the ps4 using an older model controller (after hitting the reset button with a paper clip!). And it seems to be more physically stable on the controller connection than the official one. But I will run more tests before buying another... and it won't be from Best Buy.

Worked at first but now it doesn’t. Worst product EVER!!!!

It works perfectly and helps my controller charge and its long enough so that i can still use my controller while its charging, which is a plus.

This PS4 charge cable charges our controllers correctly, does not fall out of the charge ports, and the length of the cord is an awesome plus. Considering we charge and use our PS4 controllers through our PC.
