The 6ft length helps out when my controller or headphones are dying in the middle of a gaming session. I no longer have to sit on the floor to charge my accessories and keep playing. The only drawback (and it's a small one) is that it doesn't have the nice braided wrapping that the PS3 6ft charge cable had. No stars deducted for this as it is purely aesthetic.

Useful to charge an Android phone

I especially like the fact that the cord is longer than my previous cord so I can use my phone while it is charging 5 feet away.....especially useful while waiting at the gate to board a plane.
