These break after a reasonable period of use, so it's always good to get one from Sony at a reasonable price. I prefer original manufacture parts vs 3rd party if they don't rake you over the coals. It's a quality cable and will last compared to many of the 3rd party variety.

I was in need of a cable for my ps4 controller and I bought these official sony usb cable for 9.99. At first i thought it was 3 ft of cable but after reading the box i realized it was 6.5ft. The cable is sturdy and the length is perfect. For 9.99 this cable is worth it. I highly recommend it.

This cord is longer and better than the cord that comes with the console. And, while it is slightly longer on the original, it is still to short to reach across a fair sized living room. So, unless you have seating close enough, it will just be useful for charging the controller, rather than playing "corded". But overall, I have not been disappointed in its performance.

Am very happy that Best Buy had this cable for the PS4. It makes the unit playable again.

They work great, Had purchased some earlier from another source and they worked for about a week and for some reason stopped working, Thought I could save a couple of bucks. Amazon sells some cheap Items.
