Also after about 1 month the pins on the controller end sunk into the the cable and now no longer firmly hold the controller without easily slipping out.

I also purchased two new PS4 controllers. I am having the issue where the cable will not stay connected and slips out of the port plug in of both controllers. Therefore, I have to buy a new charging cord. Waste another $11. but have no other choice.

Regarding these PS4 cables I find they need to be replaced on a regular basis (low quality). I hope Sony in the future makes a better cable for charging the PS4 controller.

I tried it and the phone charge signal kept going in and out. So had to return it. It's really for gaming (?) but I liked it because of the long cord. A shame it gave me problems.
