Sure any Samsung or android usb could do the job, but for a particular PS4 that I knew needed something fast and a good quality this was it.

Believe it or not I didn't even get this for my PS4 I bought it for a phone charger for my Droid because it was literally half the price of all the USB cords in the phone department. $10 is better than $20 any day.

Best Thing Ever

The remote for his old system would go through batteries like crazy. This cord is a life saver!! It's durable and we don't have to keep purchasing batteries.

I have purchased one a while back and it has not broken yet. I bought a second one for another controller. I actually use it to connect my xbox one controllers to my computer.
