Decided to pick this controller up because my kids kept forgetting to charge the main controller and it was always dead. That is no longer a problem! This controller obviously never needs charging and is comfortable to hold too ! Great alternative.

Basic controller, but comfortable to use. Wired connection is micro-usb which is unfortunate but it does have support at the connection so unlikely it will come loose or wear out.

We needed a second controller so both my kids could play on the TV, and this one has been great. Another perk that’s not listed is that the wire can detach and be used in to charge the switch/switch lite.

Great controller but some games require the more expensive pro controller. I prefer this type, and am disappointed that the games that allow this controller still say pro needed, so you can't really tell ahead of time which will work with it.

The controller is comfortable to use, similar to the older xbox 360 controllers, probably why I like it so much. The pads are a little stiffer than the ones that come with the switch, so a heads up there. But a nice controller when you are on a budget.

Lightweight, easy to use, perfect for kids as the other controllers are too small.

The PowerA controller is the controller to go to when the tiny joysticks and buttons of the joy-cons just don't cut it. Also since its wired you don't have to worry about having to charge it.

Great reasonably priced extra controller for having friends over to play Mario cart. Not 5 stars because it is kinda too light in the hands and the cord can easily lead to falling Switches on the floor (luckily not damaged)...

when playing while tethered the cord is a little short, so I went wireless, played for about 90 minutes, battery life was fine, lost sync 2 times cord length is about 5-6 feet, that's kinda close when playing on a 50+ inch television

This controller is an improvement to using the joy cons. Only wish the D pad were seperate buttons because I've had trouble pushing one for a long time without it accidentally pushing another. But for ~15$ you cannot beat it.

This was a great addition to the nintendo switch system. Helps without the need of waiting to recharge.

Seems a good enough controller. Was able to use some points to buy it, which helped. I'd probably move to a wireless controller in the future. We'll see how much we use it.

Really good controller. Sometimes you don't need a wireless controller. So why spend extra money? Save that money and spend it on games instead. This controller does the trick.

We needed a remote to have multiplayer games at the house. We also wanted one that we did not needed batteries so we got this one. Love it. Works exactly as advertised.

I purchased 2 controllers last December. Worked perfectly at first. One was used every day the other had never been used. One day they just stopped working with the Switch. Checked with the closed one, nothing. Connected the controller to the PC, both work perfectly. Can’t find any information saying that Nintendo stopped supporting PowerA, they still seem to be authorized, but the Switch definitely no longer supports it. Too bad, my son really liked this controller.
