Don't necessarily regret it, but I eventually bit the bullet and got a Pro Controller instead. This one feels cheap, just holding it and messing with the sticks and buttons you can tell it was only $20. "You get what you pay for" in controller form. Has to be plugged in, and doesn't have any vibration at all. Nice stand-in if your Joy-Cons start to drift, that's about it.

One was used every day the other had never been used. One day they just stopped working with the Switch. Checked with the closed one, nothing. Connected the controller to the PC, both work perfectly. Can’t find any information saying that Nintendo stopped supporting PowerA, they still seem to be authorized, but the Switch definitely no longer supports it. Too bad, my son really liked this controller.
