Debated the cordless, but decided on this. It has a long cord so is very functional. Much cheaper than the the cordless.

Pros: + Budget-friendly + The grip and feel of the controller is comfortable for larger hands + Buttons feel nice when pressed + Length of USB cable (10ft) Cons: - Light-weight (some prefer heavier weighted controllers) - Must plug in via cable and USB port on Switch to use

The wired controller was much lower price than other controllers. However, it had no indicator lights and no vibration function. It would not connect to our Switch and it should have automatically once plugged in.
