I bought this wired Xbox controller not expecting much—but I was honestly impressed. The setup was plug-and-play, no hassle, and it works perfectly with my Xbox and PC. I love not having to worry about batteries dying mid-game, especially during long sessions or when my kids jump in to play.
The buttons are super responsive and the analog sticks feel smooth with no dead zones. It’s also lightweight but still feels durable—not cheap or flimsy like some off-brand options. The 7 to 10-foot cable is long enough that I don’t feel stuck sitting right in front of the TV.
One thing I didn’t expect: the vibration feedback is strong and makes the gameplay feel more immersive. That’s usually something I only notice in the wireless ones, so it was a nice surprise here.
This wired remote is a solid pick if you want a budget-friendly option that still performs like a pro. Whether you’re gaming solo or letting the kids play Fortnite or Minecraft, it gets the job done and then some.

The Xbox controller is comfortable, responsive, and durable. Buttons feel smooth, and the textured grips make long gaming sessions easier. It connects quickly to both console and PC with no issues. Battery life is good, and the overall design feels premium. A reliable controller worth the price

I picked up the PowerA Wired Controller for Xbox Series X|S (Red), and so far it's been great. The buttons and sticks feel responsive, the triggers are smooth, and the wired connection means no input lag or worrying about batteries dying mid-game. For the price, it feels like an excellent value—especially if you need a reliable extra controller for couch co-op or for kids/guests.
The cable is long enough to sit comfortably on the couch, and the overall build feels sturdier than I expected at this price point. I've used it for both Xbox and PC, and haven't encountered any connection issues yet.
One thing I really appreciate about buying from Best Buy is the combination of in-store pickup and easy returns. I could check local availability, pick up the controller on the same day, and know that if anything went wrong, I could return it without a hassle—some peace of mind comes with buying from a big retailer that stands behind what it sells.
Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase, and I'd recommend this controller if you're looking for a dependable and affordable wired option.

The PowerA Wired Controller is a solid budget-friendly option for Xbox Series X|S and PC gamers. It features responsive buttons, a comfortable grip, and two programmable rear buttons for added flexibility. The 10-foot USB cable offers plenty of room for couch gaming, and the built-in audio controls are a nice touch. While it lacks wireless capability and feels slightly less premium than official controllers, it delivers great value and reliable performance for its price.

Decent controller for the price. Button quality on the triggers and face of the controller are good. The bumpers, dpad, and sticks are just ok. I have a feeling this will get drift or sticky buttons after probably a year, but it’s much cheaper than the alternatives so you pay for what you get. The controller is very light since there is no battery whether internally or for AAs, it’s a plug-in only controller. very important to keep the cord in good shape, as where it plugs in looks proprietary and you can’t just swap it out with a different USB-C cord.

Good quality controller. I’ve owned a few PowerA controllers, and the feel of it is good. I prefer wired controllers over wireless. The price for it is good. I use this on a PC, and have had no problems. It’s literally plug and play!

The controller performs well for its price. It's much lighter than a regular controller, and the cable is quite long, which is convenient. Additionally, it features rumble motors, which I find appealing as a PC gamer. Overall, this controller is an excellent option if you're looking for a decent product that offers good value for the price.
I also wanted to point out that there's an application available for PC that allows you to calibrate and correct stick drift.

Works great with my PC. I wanted something basic to see if I could get into gaming as a hobby. I wasn't aware when I purchased this controller that it was a generic to the original. Very solid, no creaking. Type c cable has plenty of length.

I bought 3 of these controllers to play local-multiplayer with my 2 kids on our PC we have hooked up to our 75" TV. So far these have worked great, just plug and play. Controllers feel durable and responsive, and they do what they're supposed to! I would definitely recommend.
