Continuing the great tradition of AC gameplay, Unity keeps all the mechanics you loved and improves on the ones you asked for. Revamped combat system and a quick descent option are just two ways Unity expands the player's experience. Only downside is a slight issue with frame rate but hopefully a future patch will address the issue.

Lots of bugs and an unfinished game. Wait for a sale and for the game to be patched.

Good for what it is another assassins creed game I found it monotonous and repetitive

Fun game. My and my wife play for hours amazed at how stunning the visuals are. Hours and hours of fun that never gets old I would definitely buy a sequel.

Loved assassins creed until AC3. Black flag was better but unity is just decent.

I have never played Assassins Creed before, and now I regret that because this game is awesome! The graphics make my head spin in a good way. There is so much to do as far as quests and collecting items around the map. The free running system is a blast when you get used to it. The only negative is that it advertised cooperative play and there does not seem to be as much of that From what I expected based on the ads. Also it is weird that it is based in France and most of the people in the videos do not have any kind of accent. Regardless, what cooperative play there is in the game is great.

I'm a huge lover of Assassin's Creed games, if you are as well, get this. It's been poorly review because of a few early release glitches, but this is the norm for Ubisoft games. Which months later, people always forget about the launch, and talk about how great the games are. I have no doubt this one will be any different.

Game play is great bit compared to previous games this lacks the depth and story.

This game contains a lot of bugs, they range from graphical glitches to completely halting your progress. Ubisoft is working diligently to finish the product and provide patches. This should have been done before release. Some aspects of parkour involve you stuck mid air, hanging from nothing, or falling through the map and dying. Other than the glitches, the story is run of the mill AC. If you like the rest you will enjoy this one too. Combat is gory, it feels out of sync at times with your input but you get used to it. There are only 3 spontaneous crowd missions that get old quick. The coop missions are ton of fun. If you get friends and work together it's awesome. Public groups are what you expect. Also Ubisoft servers are overloading and crash at times. I'm saying I would recommend this game because it's still very enjoyable, but I would wait to see how much they patch and fix.

Another AC entry that doesn't do much to further the lore of Assassin's Creed. Main character Arno is incredibly uninteresting and oddly enough, British sounding. I had to convert the audio to French to make it even an eighth bearable, since all the characters sounded like Englishman. The look of France is nice, but nothing really new comes out of this and it's better as a skipped title.

I actually like the gameplay on this game. Not like the PS3 versions of the series. Hopefully will have more to come

Ubisofts Assassins Creed's next gen debut is nicely done, great open world experience with nice visuals, challenging brutal combat, a rich historical setting

If you have played AC games before, then you know what you’re getting. Great detail in the open world though, tons of hidden stuff, and mysteries. I wish they’d just stop trying to be a game within a game though, and seriously, why hasn’t this been set in Japan yet?

If you like assassins you'll like this game. But playing online with friends the game can get really glitchy

The game needs some major bug fixes but even with all the bugs the game is phenomenal would buy again and I'm sure the bugs will be fixed soon enough.
