This game is seriously amazing. If it's too hard look up a few pointers and try to adapt to the playstyle for awhile. Anyone can beat the whole game even if it's your first souls game like me, and this was my favorite game along with fallout 4

I hear it's a great game but I just can't get too into it. I thought I woudl like the challenge and I'll give it a shot again in the future but I don't like dying so much so I have to stop sucking so much. :) I wish there was a "maybe" option for whether or not I'd recommend this to a friend because some friends love it and others would hate it.

One of the best exclusives on the the system, Bloodborne is a treat for fans of the Souls games.

Supposed to be a great game, can't wait to finally play.

I got this game for my brother, but ended up really liking it. I'd give it a 3.5

For real, it is a top 20 game of the year, for sure.

With all do respect to any and everyone who likes this game I will say I am definitely in the minority..... Overly complex difficult game that forces you to die over and over and over and O V E R again and again and again and again...... This is not my idea of fun in a video game. Also playing this game today the graphics definitely look dated and the gameplay + level design is also very poor. I would suggest Horizon Zero Down x100 if you want to play a great and innovation plus amazingly looking game. I am just baffled and shocked on how this game Bloodborne received such good reviews from many major websites. IMO it's literally one of the worst game designed video games I have ever played. I bought this check for like $9.99 and still feel mad like I lost money....... Horrible Game in my opinion

I enjoy a FUN challenging game however I'll caveat that statement that if I have to spend half of my limited "self" time waiting for a game to load for long periods with each death then it is no longer fun and no longer worth my time. If you are new to the series like I was, you will find there is no prologue to the story, no grand beginning cut scene (blood transfusion scene was C- at best), tutorial consists of random notes lying around from minions, and once you start playing in the first area you are given no direction as to what you are suppose to accomplish. They only thing you are told is to cut down a few monsters you'll feel better. Combat is sluggish in my opinion. It may be the weapon that I chose, but it seems that the response time between pressing the button and the action occurring has significant delays. Monsters seem to have a great more agility. Upon death you do not get to keep any of the currency you collected and only a few items stay with you after death. Next you are taken to a load screen that is noticeably long. I imagine you could do errands in between load times like visit the restroom, order take out, paint a Picasso, play a different game on your phone while waiting. I don't have patience for that. If you are a person who has a plethora of time to handle the long load features then this may be for you. (I'll even state that I have an upgraded HDD in my system and all other games load 100% faster than this one.) Personally, if you hold only curiosity or mild/medium interest in this game wait for 6 months when it drops to a more reasonable price of $20-30. Hopefully by then there will be a few patches that fix this lost time issue.

I liked the game but I found it a bit more difficult than most of the other games. If you like a challenging game then you will probably like this game.

Unfortunately that is the only thing enjoyable about this game, you can't level there are basically no practical save points. If you enjoy doing the same thing a hundred times over you might like this game, if you like a game where the character evolves this game is not for you. If you die in this game you basically start the whole thing all over again, and that gets old very quickly.

Bloodborne is one of the best games out there for PS4 users.

This game was ridiculously hard. I gave up after a few hours. I read up that people say you need to keep going through it and it gets easier with time, but I don't like playing video games I need to "work" on. I feel like it should've had a better flow to it. No my cup of tea.

Action RPG's are the perfect blend when you want something a little more than button mashing mindless slashing and a little less than a 350 hr RPG.

Was terrible game. Son wanted it as did I but wouldn't let him play again after seeing how dark, bloody, & just down right terrible game was. Only played it once& haven't opened it since. Thinking of selling it... Waste of money
