An extremely well-crafted and engaging gothic horror action-RPG. Another "Souls" game from From Software, though not in name, it's just as good as Dark Souls and Demon's Souls, if not better. Extremely difficult, extremely rewarding, and oozing with atmosphere. Lots of content, lots of secrets, multiple endings, randomized dungeons called "Chalice Dungeons", etc, etc. There are a few annoyances, such as having to restock Blood Vials occasionally, or the rare fight or area that's difficult AND feels unfair (a rarity since it's usually difficult but fair). Also, the randomized Chalice Dungeons can get confusing to navigate at times. Overall though, this is an excellent game, and well worth playing if you're up for a challenge.

Great game. Very intense - so intense that I don't even play it anymore and I could still say it's a great game. The scares and fights will probably make your heart beat faster. I will play this game again some day. This screenshot will summarize your playing experience from this game:

What an amazing game. It's definitely one of the best PS4 exclusives. It has a few changes from the souls series (health regen system, faster combat), but it's still very challenging. Get this game if you love the souls series.

This is game is pretty Kool once you get the hang of things. It could start kind of difficult at first, but you'll get it eventually. Not a bad game, a must own for any PS4 collection and its cheap.

If you are a fan of any of the souls games, you will certainly be a fan of this one. While it is technically a new ip, the game clearly plays like a souls game and any souls player will be comfortable in this game.

I loved this game. I have played all the prior souls games. This game was almost as good as Demon Souls. I enjoyed it a lot more than the Dark Souls games by far. I definitely recommend this game and the dlc as well.

I can't say enough good things about this game, its combat is tight, its gameplay is very rewarding and punishes you for being stupid and not learning from what is given to you to overcome any obstacle in front of you.

Bloodborne is a challenging game that will test your skills and patience. The game is full of tough battles as well as tricky stages that require the player to be on their toes and be aware of their surroundings. Recommended for those who like the demon souls and dark soul series.

Word of warning, this game is challenging and will test if. If you're not scared off.. buy this game. Deep, atmospheric with great controls, but will destroy you over and over.. and somehow you'll just want to come back for more.

Like its predecessors Bloodborne is unapologetically brutal, yet you can't stop trekking through the same path again and again until you've finally defeated whatever abomination kept stealing your blood echoes. It's a good time.

Have about three hours invested int the game and have died countless times. However, in the very few instances where I actually defeat a boss I feel unstoppable. That is, until the next enemy encounter kills me.

This is a great game. It is similar to Demon and Dark Souls, so if you like those, you'll like this. If you hated those, the addition of a gun will not stop you from liking this. Excellent graphics, gameplay, and replayability.

Just as good as Dark Soul 1 and 2. Its challenging in all the right ways while punishment for failure is fair and 99% your fault. It teaches you to learn from your mistakes.

I got into the Souls series with 3 and after beating it I felt a void that needed to be filled. I have no idea how I stayed away from this series for so long. Bloodborne is a great (unofficial) addition to the series.

For Dark Souls veterans, Bloodbourne will feel incredibly fast. The pace of the game and the change in scenery to Gothic really helps to give Bloodbourne it's own identity. Anyone looking for a fast, challenging, and rewarding gameplay experience cannot go wrong with Bloodbourne.

Very beautify game in all aspects. Difficulty is reminiscent of SMB days where you had to complete a level and run the risk of losing all of your coins. I haven't enjoyed a game so challenging and rewarding in quite some time.

Only about an hour into this game so far and I really enjoy it. Gamers should know that this game is difficult and could cause some to be frustrated. I like it however and enjoy a game that takes more than 3-4 hours to beat.

This game is so good and worth every penny i paid off. The gaming mechnics are much better that the one on Dark Soul more entretaing and not to diffcult as Dark Soul. BUt is not an easy game great graphics great history

I had not played any of the souls games but I decided to give this game a try. This game made me regret not playing Dark Souls. I will definitely buy DS2 with the hope it is just as good as this and cannot wait for DS3.
