When I first got this game I didn't know what to expect. But when I started it up I was blown away! The graphics are amazing, the online is flawless, and ranking up is an extremely fun challenge. But since I only have 2 controllers me and my brother can only do 2 player split screen and that gets a little boring. Plus the lack of co-op was disappointing.

I've been playing socom since socom one. Once cod4 has been out...I haven't picked up any of my socom games. This is a must have game. The graphics are amazing and the maps are realistic. I would highly recommend this game to anyone who loves shooter games whether it be ps3 or xbox. I personally prefer ps3..but thats another story.

When you get a game like this you know that the developers have done something right and thats exactly what they did with this game.From towns to ships you use m16's,saw's,and much more to tear up the enviroment with.The ai is also excellent they flank,take cover,and do much more.I recomend to buy this game don't rent buy.

this game is great good story mode online it good awesomr guns and everything this game is just as good as call of duty world at war all of the call of dutys r good everyone buy modern warfare 2 so we can sell more than the xbox 360 for modern warfare 2

This is a great game with great graphics. I bought it for my boys and they just love it. They can't get enough of it. It can be a little graphic but it's really an amazing game. I'm not sorry I bought it, and I would buy it again if I had to do it all over. You won't be sorry if you get this game.

This is one of the greatest games I have ever played. Online is awsome it is very fun and the graphics are just spectacular. Single player has alot of interesting missions likes of which I've never played before in other games. The ending is a bit dissapointing, but still makes for a great game.

It is a nice FPS game. Come with only one disc and it works well.

Call of Duty 4 has been out for a year now and its still kicking. Its online crowd took a blow with the release of COD 5 but it is still one of the best fps ever created. If you havent expirienced this award winning game yet, its time! You wiill not be dissapointed.

This game is awesome! The online multiplayer is very deep and the player is able to select perks according to his or her playstyle. Ive got about 5 days of playtime in it already and I can't get enough! The PSN community is very cool and mature as well. 5 stars!

This game is amazing. The best part about it is the first thing you do is a training session for the first mission to teach you all the controls and new features--It sets up the first mission beautifully. Stop reading this and go get this one and cod5

Finally they got away from the old world war genre and moved on to something different. This is what stands out from other shooters you really feel like your fighting for something. Am not much of a "gamer" but this game is in my top 5 list as being one of the best shooters i've evr played.

This is the exact same game as the regular version with the only difference being the inclusion of 4 new multiplayer maps for online play. Single player mode is not affected. If you buy the new maps on the PSN you will pay $9.99 so this is a deal.

This is a great realistic first person shooter. Playing online is a must with this one! You can upgrade your weapons as you continue to complete objectives. I would highly recommend this one to anyone that is a fan of the genre.

Game has been out for more then a year now and still is at the top price of a playstaion 3 game even the same price as the new one that came out that can just tell you something this game is the best 1st person shooter games I have ever played.

I like the fact all COD games use about the same controls. I love the fact that we got out of WWII. Didn't know we could play the same war so many different ways. I enjoy the newer weapons and the game play is smooth.

What a game. I loved every single moment of this game, from the training course to the very end. The multiplayer is a different story, call it what it is, virtual crack. I have never played any multiplayer game that was as much fun, addicting as the call of duty 4 multiplayer. You have a great variety of gunsm you can customize the guns to your liking, when you unlock certain challenges, you can give your gun a different camouflage, and there is a neutral playing field in cod 4. there is not 1 bad gun in cod 4, and there are not as many "noobs" in cod 4 as in cod 5. in cod 5 at least half of the people you play with use the mp40 because it is one of the few good guns in the game. my friend got cod 4 just for the multilayer, it is that great.

This is one of my favorite games to play. It has great graphics and one on one feature as well as an awesome online feature. I would play this game all day if I could. This is a must have game for any avid gamer.

Best shooter game ever.. I strongly recommend this game for teenagers with ps3 or xbox 360. No fantasy and old weapons, the weapons that are in the game are the ones that us marines and sas use in real life.

this game was amazing the story and the online but not many people will probably be on it after the new one comes out but id play it if you havent the only bad thing about this one is there was no trophies

A far cry from the original call of duty for the PS2.... Excellent first person shooter as well as outstanding multi player and online game play.
