This is one of the most fun games to play. First of all, the campaign is pretty cool. There are great action parts and great cinematic cut scenes all tied together to continue the story from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. The only bad thing is that it is a little short. Then special-ops co-op mode is pretty fun. It is basically doing a mission with a buddy. The great thing for both modes are the achievements; they make you want to do the hard levels. Then of course, there is the online multiplayer. This by far is the best part. There are so many guns and attachments to unlock. Also, the class perks makes online play much more fair and fun than CoD4. There are also many killstreak rewards to choose from: care packages to nukes! Overall, this is a gam worth buying because it will keep you coming back.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 picks up sometime after Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. If you didn't finish that campaign, you may be a little lost as the brief recap at the start of MW2 does little to fill in the gaps. If you have beaten, and remember, the story from COD4, then you're in for a great story that is made so by the impressive presentation. Infinity Ward has approached each level with great care and attention to detail, providing cinematic flair at almost every turn while maintaining the perspective of the player, which helps to keep the player immersed at all times. The controls are the same as COD4 and are as responsive and pinpoint as ever. Spec Ops is a blast with a friend. Multiplayer is improved over COD4 with customizable killstreaks and different perks. The game is extremely balanced. Every weapon and every perk has its counter. Prestige mode returns with the added benefit of allowing the player to gain another Create-a-class slot for every other Prestige level gained, with a total of 10 Create-a-class slots by the 10th Prestige level. The multiplayer alone has legs, with an all around good collection of maps, multiple playlists with different rules, and the assortment of weapons and attachments. Infinity Ward's design of the multiplayer will also keep you coming back as it has micro-unlocks, whether it be rank promotion, new weapons, new weapon attachments, new emblems, new callsigns, new killstreaks, or just challenge unlocks, you'll be coming back just to hear the sound of something getting accomplished. Achievement and trophy buffs will be pleased. Don't forget, DLC is coming sometime in Spring. Get the game, it's a lot of bang for your buck.

this game is oh so f-ing awesome! good story line good maps,guns and graphics. way much better than black ops! looking forward for mw3 to come out in november 2011.oh the graphics are so much better on a led tv yall should get it will blow your mind! oh and one last thing for all of yall that complain about how others game playing like campers, noob tubers who cares and shut up and play your own game cause after yall IT'S JUST A GAME!

I thought this game was going to be much better. But it was not.

Best game of the series. The campaign was great. Spec ops was a big +. Multiplayer was amazing, the maps were good and guns as well, more customization. Its the most perfect game but lacking 1 thing, 2 player online. You have ur friend over and u wanna play online, well u cant do that. you have spec ops but its not the same. It all depends on what u want to do.

Modern warfare2 for xbox 360 is by far the best multiplayer game for xbox 360 the campaign is great spec-ops is fun the only down side about modernwarfare 2 is that it is easy for modders to get in and cheat but when u end up beating them that makes you feel even better also i believe this game is better then black ops because the guns are better and the graphics i dont like having to buy everything in black ops plus the weapons are insufficent they had some great ideas but when it comes to multiplayer in call of duty infinity ward knows how to make a good game the only good things about treyarch is there campaign and zombies which i like alot.

this game has a short single player mode that i very fun and entertaining. if that was the game i would have been very happy paying full price for that experience. but if you have xbox live this game is maybe the best game that has ever hit live. maps are all great and fun, lots of people playing this game and the way that they use the exp. to upgrade your perks and weapons is much better than the first modern warfare. this game has not left my xbox since it came out i have about 20 to 30 games i still have to play and they are taking a back seat to modern warfare 2 right now i cant stop playing this game it is that good!!!!

I got this game the day it came out and believe me, it's one of the best purchases i've had. For starters, the graphics are amazing. The storyline is a little hard to follow, but other than that the campian is great. Special OPs is good because there are additional missions that you can do and complete. Some are tricky but that's the fun of it. Xbox Live multiplayer is great. There are different guns in this game then in call of duty 4, but there are some similar guns with better sights. If you buy this game, you won't regret it.

Let me say first have always had a love for FPS and this genre of game. This one blows them all out of the water. I've owned all of the Call of Duty games but never found myself still playing almost a year later. The only games that have kept my attention span this long were GRAW 1, GRAW 2, and Halo 3. Multiplayer modes that it. Graphics in this game are amazing. Environments are great, not standard textures such as with most Halo games. Campaign was fun and challenging at times. The reason to buy this game is for XBox Live Multiplayer. This is extremely addicting. You will find yourself on it for hours try to unlock the next weapon, attachment, callsign, emblem, or dominate your friends. Never has a multiplayer for console brought so many people together of all ages. The only downside to the online play is the Modders, Hackers, etc. All of these people are spineless losers who have no integrity. What is funny is that they're playing an Military games. One of the core values that was pushed on me during my service to the country was integrity.

I wouldn't recommend this game if your not going to play multiplayer, because then it would be a horrible waste of money. The storyline was a disappointment for me. It was just ridiculous how enemies just kept coming and coming out of no where and it was just non-stop shooting. It got very annoying half way through the campaign. I won't even take time to bother with reviewing special ops mode because its just a big joke! The creators could have created something really cool with that, like a different storyline and missions with let's say, the Navy SEALS, but instead it was like some cheap and boring arcade mode with stupid missions. The multiplayer however, is amazing in my opinion. Much better than the previous games. The maps are great and well designed. The new Callsign/Title feature is a nice way to customize your profile. And the weapons and the different attachments are very cool. The multiplayer of Modern Warfare is what really saved this game from being a disaster.

this is deffinatley the best warfare game out there the multiplayer is really fun and addicting its fun and you get to pick what guns you want to start with via custom classes and you can also have claymores,c4 and other type of equiptment avaible there are also lots of good maps out with the game and they have more on the way the campaign is really good and it has lots of really epic moments but it is really short campaign like your looking at about 7 hours on vetern difficulty and about 4 hours on normal difficulty spec ops is just like halo firefight or gears of wars horde which in my opion they all are boring and not much fun but if you like horde and firefight you would probley like spec ops the main differnce is that it is only 2 player co-op oposed to like 4 player co-op.this game could deffinatly be game of the year the multiplayer is great it puts halo 3 to shame.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is a phenomenal game and entry in the series. The game is tons of fun and the story, co-op, and multiplayer is very enjoyable. It is one of my favorite video games of the seventh console generation. For a great gaming experience, definitely check out this game.
