Game is SOOOO addicting and fun. You won't be able to set down your controller. I never really was a fan of the Call of Duty series of games until this one. This is so much fun to play online with my Xbox Live friends. I have noticed however that the online matchmaking with parties is annoying. After your in the lobby and you attempt to join a game with your party - some members get dropped from the game. Hope this gets fixed in the next patch. $chug

i had this game for all of 4 days before returning it and getting a refund. this game would be a whole lot better if people didn't mod and cheat the system. but the exp was very nice and it was easy to level up. the maps were also very cool and are still the best maps out of all the call of duties. the guns are also nice and its easy to get a kill versus black ops where it takes a full clip to kill someone. i still recommend this to a friend.

The game is incredible and intense. Story mode was shorter than previous versions, but more focus was put into the online play, since the market is bigger than ever for that. The maps were a bit disappointing and could be improved. They were more interactive, but the entire color scheme is a bit harder on the eyes. It's hard to explain.....overall, I am completely satisfied with the game and the improvements they made from the previous installment.

over all good game i just wish that the story would have been a little longer, because you only do like 8 missions and then the game is over. But the graphics and over all game play is really smooth and amazing. the online isnt what i thought it was going to be they replaced some good stuff with some ok stuff and the levels are fun to play for about 2 weeks then it gets boring, unlike CoD 4 where the levels are a good size and fun but i here they are making a map pack for MW2 that gives us some of the CoD 4 maps so that will be good.

Ok i got this game story mode is good but way to short good graphics and stuff but dont get this game if you do not have xbox live the only thing it is good for is xbox live, if you buy this and dont have xbox live you got ripped off, so i recommend this game to anyone who has xbox live if your just getting this to play it no point, but good game overall good story bad length. And one more thing don't buy this thinking you can return it because you cant after you open it you can only return it for the same one if it has defects.

Another sweet game, alot like COD 4 but alittle quicker! Smoother with great graphics and story.

This is an incredible addition to the COD set. It is worth every dollar. I have long waited for this game. I did however encounter a couple of issues. Most importantly they have cancled out the "party" chat feature which I loved the party chat. Now you can only private chat with one other person!! there was a petetion on the website to bring it back so go and sign it!!!!! BRING BACK PARTY CHAT!!!! secondly-- When I put the disc in my disc drive my system kept on saying disk read errors. All of my other games work and have never done this. I even put several other games in to check. I figured out a get around for this. I installed the game to the hard-drive and I play it from the hard-drive so it works ok now. My only other issue as that the way most of the levels are built with so many structures, it has created a campers paradise.... Most people will just find a spot and pitch a tent to draw you into gaining kills.... unfortunatly I am not for campers... other then that... This game is deffinatly an improvement and I am re-addicted to the MODERN WARFARE gaming again.... excellent graphics... great perks.. I like the kill streaks and death streaks as well..... The new perks are great... And finaly the ability to migrate to a new host is awesome..... No more being booted from a room when the host decides to leave....INFINITY WARD "GREAT JOB"!!!!!!!! this will be game of year easily and I deffinatly reccommend this game as a must have!! the lines and the wait for this game was insaine!!! see you all on the battle field.

best game i have ever played. period. the online play is the best i have ever experienced

Im sure we can all agree that MW2 is the best call of duty ever. World at WAr had a nice run but MW2 blows it away. All the new perks, the guns are awesome, the new killstreaks are nice but the nuke is annoying because a lot of people camp just 2 get it. The game is the best except all the hacking when the game came out. (10 prestige hack,unlimited ammo, 18 person free-4-all, etc.) infity ward has patched most of these hacks so the game is finally the way it is supposed 2 be fun and stressful.

This game is amazing, the graphics are great, the realistic movement and interaction stunned me. Just beware it is addicting and you'll be playing for hours at the expense of a upset g/f or wife!

awesome game played it at a vendor show in kansas city about a month ago i never thought they could surpass cod 4 in look feel and gameplay but i was wrong .. so very very wrong.. this will not be one to disappoint like other hyped up games like halo 3 not bad but not halo 2... or 2 worlds .. really that game was horrible.. anyway but modern warfare 2 it will be your least wasted $60 this holiday season.

This game looks amazing. It will win game of the year for sure.no game coming out can possibly beat it especially not Halo 3 ODST. Halo takes no skill what so ever. and no ofense to everyone that said it needs zombies, it doesn't. Zombies wasnt even that fun anyway. Only because Zombies took about as much skill as turning on a T.V. thats how it was for me. Anyway bottom line this game will be the best!!!

This is one of the best games that I have played. I particularly like the special ops mode when you can tag with a friend and play all these different type of missions in different environments. This game is challenging for sure, specially when playing in veteran. The story mode is about 5-6 hours long but you will be enjoying special ops and online play for hrs. Its definitely worth the $60 bucks.

Excellent follow on to COD4! Interesting storyline. Love the Xbox Live online play!

This game blew me away! The graphics are fantastic and the attention to detail is unmatched. The storyline is supurb, and is full of twists and turns! Unforntunatly the campain mode is really short. For a game of this level it should be twice as along as it is! On the other hand the multiplayer will pick up the slack, most definitly. Never the less this game delivers and IS worth the money.

Gotta get this game. I'm addicted. Tons of different weapons. Graphics are great.

ive been expecting this game a while ago, since i loved cod 4, i like this modern stuff, asside the online is one of thebest addicting lagless i ever play, thats if the host is from america of course ,hahah well i overall recoend this game, it really worth the 60 bucks if you area wa/shooter game lover

The campaign mode is awesome; all the high tech equipment you get to use makes it so much more fun! The multiplayer mode online is beyond compare. The boards are much bigger than the original and the quantity of guns will take you forever to master. Only way to improve this product is to make the campaign multiplayer and increase the room size in the multiplayer online mode.

This is still hands down the greatest COD ever. This needs to be remade pronto!

Call of duty:Modern warfare is the best shooter game that i ever played and i know MW2 is going to top it. The weapons look cooler then sh** and you know you cant go wrong with the bushmaster!! the only problem with this game is that we have to wait so freakin long for it to come out, i really hope the toss a beta our way. see you suckas in my crosshairs online.
