I like this game and couldn't wait to play online with friends. I am very glad that they kept the zombies out of this title . Not that i'm a hater of zombies but, if i wanted to play with zombies i would play left4dead or CoD:waw. I think that the story line was really great just not long enough. The ending was kinda lame in that you knew that was going to happen. CoD4 was a great game and mw:2 is a really good follow up. See you online.

I love this game, I play it for the multiplayer and altho there are some bugs(what game doesnt have bugs?) its a great game. What annoys me about the game though is that sometimes when you shoot someone it doesnt react, so like I'd shoot someone and they wouldnt get hurt. Another thing is the boosters in the game, they got rid of Cage match because people were using that to boost so they are trying to get rid of it but lets face it, they won't ever be able to totally rid the game of cheaters and again lets face it.. everyones boosted at least once lol whether youre trying to get FMJ for your gun or trying to get Fall. Another annoying thing is when playing Hardcore.. youre not supposed to get hitmarkers but sometimes you will. But even with these bugs and annoyances it is such an amazing game and when you're playing you'll keep saying "one more match then ill get off" but we all know it'll be a few matches or another hour before you get off lol.

Best Game Ever!! Great Story! Great Graphics! Great Online Play!

I just finished the campaign mode last night. While the story line was good, it was way too short. As a matter of fact, I think it's shorter than CoD4 MW. The graphics were, once again, top notched. The controls are familiar. When you play any of the CoD series you pretty much played them all as far as the controls are concerned. Which is good!!! I wished that you and 3 other friends are able to play the Spec Ops mode. That would have been more fun. But only 2 people are able to play. The campaign mode picks up 5 years after the events of CoD 4. There are new characters as well as a couple of returning heroes ones from CoD 4. Soap Mactavish and Captain Price. Soap is now a Captain and sporting a mohawk. As stated in other reviews regarding the "No Russians" mission, yes it is disturbing. You kill the innocent civillians in the airport. However, Infinity Ward does give you the option to skip the mission at the beginning of the game. There is a twist at the end. No, not everyone died. But it is a safe bet that there'll be MW3. I don't see this franchise going anywhere anytime soon. No comment regarding the on-line play because I've been concentrating on the campaign mode. But I will be playing it on-line this weekend.

The game is great but it would be nice if they kept Zombies. I know it's a different development company but I think everyone loved Zombies in 5 so why not create a map or two for it??? Otherwise, the game is awesome and multi-player on xbox Live is a lot of fun. Kids get a bit crazy but you can always mute them if you don't feel like yelling back!

I got this game for the multiplayer basically. Its awesome, hour less nights on this game for sure. It has soo many game types and weapon unlocks... And best of all the "Killstreaks". Killstereaks are basically a killing spree. So you if you got 3 kills in a row with out dying you get UAV... to spot enemies on your HUD. You can customize your killstreaks also. Now the campaign.. its fun, but it get boring at some times. But I don't really care about the campaign. Get it.. it has the best multiplayer ever. Thanks for reading! :)

AWESOME GAME. The trailers look SO amazing. I had been hoping ever since COD4 came out that they would make a new MODERN WARFARE because COD4 jus lacked a lot of the new weapons that were being used when the game was made and COD4 didnt have all the thing and military devices that are offered in MODERN WARFARE 2. Its jus going to be a great game

This is by far the best Call of Duty yet! The graphics and game play are top notch! Just like the first Modern Warfare the single player campaign is a little short, I got through it in just over 6 hours of play time. Furthermore, just like the first one, this was built around online play. The online is simply amazing! This game is a must own.

Ok i love this game don't get me wrong. I think that the story for the most part had the same components as the first modern warfare. The controls are the same so it is easy to pick up and play.The graphics are stepped up and online is way better with more attachments and custom kill streaks. I would suggest this to anyone who loved COD4.

After watching the first reveal trailer for this game i pre ordered this game right away. I wish the game would be released during the summer, so i could play it on summer break from school. if you liked cod 4(which i'm sure you did) pre order this game just to make sure you'll have a copy, because i think they're going to go fast.

The campaign is very good, however i personally prefer the COD 4 campaign. There is a lot of problems with the online multiplayer. For example, there are a lot of glitches and hackers online. It can get a little repetitive, which is where map packs come in. Overall this game is 100% worth the money, despite all of its problems.

I pre-ordered this for my husband and picked it up the day that it was released. He loves this game. I often catch him waking up an extra 40 min early for work just to sneak in a game or two before I get up. He says that the graphics are awesome and that it is really challenging. If you are or know a gamer this is a great game!

This game is insane. The game is so well planned out. The multi player action is intense. MW2 is set up for everyone to play. They have you create strategies from the game play to how you set up your perks and gun attachments. This game is extremely fast paced and just a wonderful game to give as a present. I just love it!!

Yet another great Call of Duty game makes it's way onto the scene.. as the sixth game of the series Modern Warfare 2 held nothing back. With Clean graphics, a stong storyline and great multiplayer format this series isn't slowing down anytime soon. You'll get every penny out of this game.. and every COD game at that.

i know i cant rate how hard or fun it is until i actuly play it, but just go to youtube and u will see that it look so much fun. also cod4 was a good game which means that they are just going to inprove upon it. so it might be simulare but it has so many new fatures that it is a whole new game. i seriously cant wait

This game looks amazing, all of the gameplay video makes me want this game more and more. I have collected a lot of info on the weapons and attachments and they all look awesome. I would like a few more new weapons and definitely more pistols, but they are already loaded with new things. They game will be great.

This is probably the most talked about game with my school, its gonna be the best sequal ever, i'm really looking forward to the new perks and weapons, hopefully the listened to everyone on twitter and added more customization. THIS IS WITHOUT A DOUBT THE BIGGEST MUST HAVE GAME OF 2009!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is Modern Warfare 2. People have been waiting for this game ever since it was annouced. It is great game and while the story might not be as great as the first game it is still a great game. I think most everyone who is checking out this game already knows this so pick it up and join everyone online.

addicting, adrenaline fueled game that will take you by storm. spec ops is a blast, everything on veteran difficulty is a challenge. online is incredibly diverse & keeps you going for days. the only thing that gets annoying are online players who camp, have heartbeat sensors & use the grenade attachment.

I've been playing Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare for about a 1 year now. I still enjoy playing it and i think it is a great game. As what I've heard Modern Warfare 2 is supposed to be so good that it makes Modern Warfare look like a joke. So anyways, in my opinion the regular copy of the game is really what you should buy. I'm not saying that the hardened edition and prestige edition is stupid and not worth it. I just think that the regular edition is worth it because it is just the game. The hardened edition is worth it if you want that art book that tells you about the game and the code for cod 1. The prestige edition is worth it if you actually go outside and play games during the night, if you've been wanting night vision goggles for a long time or want an art book. However the copy of the game with the console is completely worth it if your willing to spend the money. it is worth it for many reasons such as: - 250 GB hard drive - if your xbox isnt in good shape - if you want cool looking console designed especially for the game -etc.
