Great improvements but more of the same

It sports better visuals, a more linear storyline and gives the player some control on how to approach each scenario.

Decent shooter, bad story

This game rewards rewards a tactical approach to action, often rewarding finding obscure ways to ambush enemies or even avoid them all together. There is nothing wrong with that, but the action isn't precise and the situation your character is in can be confusing at times in terms of objectives and enemies. The powers/enhancements seem typical for this genre, nothing that really stands out. Personally, I found the story to be overly complex and convoluted. I enjoyed walking around the world on side quests and helping people in need of something much more than the main story line. It isn't bad but it seems that the series is not moving in the right direction.
