If you are a fan of Dragon Quest then get this asap! One of the best in the series. And made w some enhancements to better your experience if you have played this before.

I prefer this game over a lot of the newer RPGs that are released today. Updated storyline, bonus characters, faster alchemy. An excellent remake of a classic PS2 game.

Is what I keep hearing, but I dunno, I still haven't even played it yet. I want to, just haven't gotten the chance to play it. These remakes though are great to have.

This is an amazing reboot from the PlayStation 2 version! The animations and cutscenes absolutely make this game a must have for Dragon Quest fans!

I was a huge fan of the PS2 version, so it was no brainer to purchase the upgraded 3DS version with new characters and challenges. Highly recommended!

This game is better than I remember. New characters, camera quests, and instant alchemy pots are wonderful additions to the original ps2 version

This was my first DQ game so I was kinda skeptical about it, but once I started playing, I fell in love with it! It's a really good game!

A good entry-point into the Dragon Quest series for new players, and a great example of the series for fans. There were a lot of quality of life improvements to modernize the games, such as seeing enemies on the map, versus random battles (a MASSIVE improvement). I would highly recommend it.

I would say this game would be a decent start into getting into the DQ series, no classes, focus on the characters skill points with weapons. It's a good entry point into the series. I missed out on the PS2 version, but I would say the additional content added to 3DS version makes up for it.

This is a great re-release of a PS2 game of the same name, a few things are cleaned up, new characters, but more censorship.

This is a great version of DQ8. The visuals, music, and voice are all in tact from the PS2 version. Great buy for JRPG fans.

Never got to play this game on the PS2 but I'm glad it got remade for the 3DS. Easy to put a lot of hours into this game.

Dragon Quest's best is finally on a Nintendo console. DQVIII is an amazing experience that everyone needs to experience.
