Great for anyone who did or did not play the original on PS2. Same base game, different platform and added content.

Having the monster visible on the field makes the exploration and hunting specific monsters fell less tedious.

There are some differences compared to the original but I am super excited to play this classic on the go!

This is the 3DS port from the PS2 version of the game. The graphics are okay but not the greatest. For the price I got it for, it's definitely worth it. I definitely missed this game a lot and was glad to be able to play it again.

If you missed Dragon Quest Viii on the PS2, now is the perfect time to play one of the best Dragon Quest games ever made. Simple standalone story that doesn't require any previous knowledge of the past Dragon Quest games.

This is the game that got me into JRPGs. One of the best stories in any medium.

It's wonderful being able to play DQ8 again, especially in a hand held format.
