I didn't know what to think about a remake of a home console game on the 3ds. But wow they did a wonderful job! If you like RPG or Dragon Quest this is a must buy!

Very good graphics sound and plot great gameplay and story

What can i say its dragon quest on 3ds and it works quite well...kinda upset they use the mobile version and not the playstation 2 one...still overall great game

A classic RPG from the ps2 era but with the portability of a Nintendo handheld. In other words the greatest way to play an amazing game, where ever you are.

but better! I feel like the graphics, game-play, and every aspect of this game is better than the original. First time nostalgia did not get the best of me!

If you are a fan of JRPGs, then you already know that this is a great game. For the rest, forget the length of the game and just enjoy the journey.

My personal favorite dragon quest game in the series. If you missed this game on ps2, you can't go wrong with picking up this version. It's fantastic.

I was very excited to purchase and replay this title and it did not dissapoint although it is not in 3d but not a deal breaker. Highly recommended

Was an amazing game when I first played it on the PS2 many years ago and just as good now on 3DS. Any fans of RPGS need to give this game a chance!

This game is fun for those who love JRPGs and great stories. The quest is long and packs lots of combat. Recommended for any Dragon Quest Fan

I own two other games from the series but this one tops them, it's easy to learn how to play and a story line that keeps you hooked.

DQ VIII on 3DS is a very soild port. The textures aren't as good as PS2 but everything else is there. It plays well. Recommended.

gotta be one of the best in the series. the story and characters are just so easy to get engrossed in that you cant stop playing for hours.

Dragon Quest VIII for the 3DS is an excellent update to this PS2 classic. This is a lengthy adventure that is well worth the investment.

Great game. This is a remake of the PS3 classic with a few changes such as being able to see your enemies on screen. No random encounters.

Love it played the ps2 version this one is better u don't have to find the map wish it had a strategy guide tho other then that awesome

Fun action packed game. I recommend only playing this if you own the new nintendo 3DS because it runs a bit slow on the older model 3DS

This is up there with the best RPGs of all time (Chrono Trigger, FF VI-VII, etc.). I highly recommend it if you're a fan of RPGs!

Easily one of, if not THE best JRPG for the 3ds. plays and feels just like the Original DQ8 for the ps2. with lots of improvements.

Dragon Quest VIII can be described simply as: One of the greatest JRPGs of all time. Right up there with Chrono Trigger, FFVI etc.
