Another great fallout game! Its gameplay is huge like all fallout games. Its a little different than new vegas but still a great game. They added really cool weapon/armor customization to the game. There isn't a hardcore mode but you don't heal right away, it takes more time based on the difficultly. If you liked any of the fallout games you'll love this one too! Cuz War... War never changes!!!

I am a major fan of single player games and Fallout 4 delivers on all levels. The story is incredible and the gameplay and visuals complete the perfection of this game. I have spent around 40 hours in gameplay and still feel like I can keep playing for another 40. There are so many different things to do and discover and will keep you entertained for a while. A MUST HAVE game.

Fallout 4 builds on the success of the preceding games. It is a massive open world environment that can be fully explored. There is a lot of attention to detail. The character animations are a weak spot but the overall graphics are top notch. Almost everything you encounter can be picked up for future use. Character attribute system contains a lot of sub detail.

I have played Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas on Xbox 360. I really enjoyed both titles, but especially Fallout 3. Fallout 4 plays very similarly to 3, but there is so much more to do. The graphics look amazing as well. If you enjoy playing long story driven rpg mixed with 1st person shooter, I can't recommend this enough. Buy this game!

Can't put down my controller...man i love this game. Expect a few bugs but outside of that this game is amazing. I've probably already put 40+ hours into this game and I've barely touched the main quest line. There's a million things to do and an endless amount of places to explore. I expect to be playing this game for quite some time

If you like games that can consume a whole lot of time then this is the game for you. It has combat, building settlements, secrets to find, a bunch of missions to complete and workshops ready to add modds to weapons and armor. I'm sure I'm forgetting stuff but it's fun and you get over the pip boy navigation after a minute or two.

*disclaimer* MY personal thoughts and opinions, just mine.
For years I've been hearing from friends and family how great the world of Fallout was. The months leading up to the release of this game were no different. Everybody told me I had to try this game. I finally decided to do so.
After about 10 hours of playing the game, I'm certainly impressed, just not blown away. Graphically the game is beautiful and I like the game mechanics. The challenge is good, although a bit frustrating for me because I was brought up on jrpgs. (Yes I changed the difficulty.) Dealing with your inventory and managing quests is also a pleasant experience. But therein lies the problem for me.
I don't find the quests interesting in the least bit and I feel like there are just way too many useless items. I understand that most games nowadays are like that, I guess I just found Skyrim and Far Cry much more interesting. Speaking of Far Cry, that game blows this one of the water when it comes to fun. I realize they're completely different games, but still. Again though, that's just my opinion.
I keep hearing about all the action and excitement this game offers, but it feels incredibly slow to me. If anyone reading this can tell me how to make my experience more enjoyable, that would be great. I'm definitely open to suggestions. Another thing I've been considering is, maybe I'm just not a Fallout kinda guy. So please anyone, feel free to insult me for this review; or here's a thought, tell me what I'm missing.

I used to play Minecraft, and I guess I will eventually get back into it, but as for now I'm building houses on this game. I put hundreds of hours into Fallout 3 and New Vegas and now I'm already far into this game, without even being far into the main missions yet. SO MUCH TO DO. Season Pass better come out with good stuff.

14 hours in, and Fallout 4 has been a fantastic play. There are a lot of new features and some slight changes to button play from previous Fallout releases, so I did have some frustration in the first few hours figuring out how everything worked. Since it's been a few weeks since the initial release date, there are - fortunately - tons of blog posts and online articles from other players to help provide clues on how to get through some of the less obvious, less user friendly functions. I experienced no issues installing, launching or setting up the game on my XBOX One. Character development was quick and straight forward, and - unlike previous releases, which could be very slow to start - this story takes off right out of the gate. TONS of action. I found Dog Meat, found my power armor, and battled a Death Claw all within 2 hours of starting. Pretty fierce!! Graphics are smooooooth and land topography seems drastically improved. Not a lot of dead space on the map; you don't have to walk far to find some kind of activity. I give it a solid A. Bethesda did a GREAT JOB. I'm super happy so far.

Best Game Of 2015

As a long time Fallout fan I was very excited about Fallout 4 and with how many years it took to be made since Fallout 3, so were a lot of other people. This is probably the best game of 2015.You can literally play this game for a month and still have fun left in the game. This game is not for people who like to only play a game for a week and then get rid of it.You have to invest a lot of time in this game.Being a long time Fallout fan I do have a few things that I think they have changed and not for the better. The voice of the main character eliminates interesting and funny dialogue options that were in previous Fallout games. Also I am not a fan of the new Radiation storms and bad weather. It seems to rain way to much and makes seeing things hard to do and the radiation storms can pop up during an important mission and screw things up.Also dead enemies and their items they are holding seem to disappear now sometimes and in past Fallout's you didn't have to worry about that. With all that said though the game is still better than any game you can find out there.

The Fallout series has been steadily improving since Bathesda took over. Fallout 4 has exceeded my expectations. Everything has been enhanced and upgraded. If you like total immersion in an RPG, then look no further. Terrific music, gameplay, dialog, graphics and story. A must own title for all gamers.

If you want a game with tremendous amounts of value Fallout 4 is for you. There is much to discover with the story alone, not to mention all the side quests, items to find, games to play within the game, customization. It's incredible. And the level of polish on top of the deep content is phenomenal.

Fallout has been a favorite series of mine for a while now, and this addition to it will keep me interested for another decade. Its that good. Seriously. Yes, the graphics are not as good as they could be and there's occasionally a bug. However, the story is great and the game play is mesmerizing.

Bethesda's open-world strengths have always differed from its contemporaries in that focus on world-building and a sense of place above all else. Fallout 4 has all the ambiance and history that made its predecessors such wonderful places to get lost for hours at a time, with a much more coherent set of stories within it. That Bethesda has integrated a major building and crafting tool while finally building a great-playing game almost feels like a bonus.

Better than its predecessor, always an epic story and gameplay. If you liked Fallout 3 this one will not disappoint. I haven't logged many hours myself but it will be sure to keep you busy. As the designers said the focus is on the the interaction with the environment and the characters so don't expect gorgeous layouts like the Arkham series, Tomb Raider, etc. A quality game that definitely makes the most of what you shell out for games these days.

Got this on sale, but even if I didn't you'd be getting your money's worth in terms of gameplay if you partake in all the side quests and activities this game has to offer. The graphics are decent and having played for many hours, I haven't experienced any major game breaking bugs yet.

Fallout 4 takes you to post-nuclear apocalyptic Boston in the same era as it's predecessors, Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas. You are one of the lucky few who has lived in the safety of an underground vault, but that's hardly compelling, so you venture out to experience the harsh, unforgiving life of the wasteland. Part of the charm of the Fallout series is its alternate universe in which American culture never left the 1950s, which is evident in all of the architecture and technology present in the game. You can choose your direction in the storyline, good or evil, join a faction and build settlements, and explore and scavenge endlessly. The landscape is vast and there is so much to see and enjoy. I have put almost 5 days of my life into this game and I still have a hard time stepping away. The one negative is the general glitchiness of the game, although the recent update has seemed to resolve most of them. Save as often as you can just to be safe.
tl;dr Just go buy it now!

If you get one game and need something worth the money , this is it, fallout 4 looks better than the predicessors and is just as fun as them if not more, I beg of you though please don't go into the game with your old tendencies and expect not to pick up every piece of trash everywhere, because you can, and you will become over-encumbered before you know it, sure you can use everything you pick up, but believe me you'll survive without it, packed with hours and hours seriously I'm on my way to 200 hrs of game play, you'll have to pull yourself away from. If you've got time this is definitely something you'll need. An epic western role playing game with well written humorous dialogue spread throughout, you'll enjoy it. Heck if you've ever played any of the fallout games you're probably not reading this, so if you haven't at least give it a try! Though word of caution people have experienced glitches, I haven't ran into anything game breaking, just make sure you save often!!
