The game is fine, even better Microsoft gave me codes for the four previously released Gears Games! The Huge regret has to do with the "Play Anywhere" feature which allows you to also download GOW:UE on Windows 10. To qualify you MUST buy the Digital Version of this game!

If you missed the original gears of war this is a solid pickup as its a remaster, 60 FPS goodness. What better way to prepare yourself for Gears of War 4 then to play the original that started it all?

Gears of War is the best shooting game in Xbox. The only reason that I bought the Xbox system is because Gears of War exist only on this console, that's how good of a game I think it is.

The original Gears of War was a great game. While it was great, it still had some flaws, like the occasional framerate issue, that this remaster fixes. There's still some areas that can be smoothed out, but overall it's a improvement on an already great game.

If you're a gears player, you should get it. Not bad

As far as remasters go, this release doesn't really change much overall. The price is fairly reasonable though for what you get and is definitely something that everyone should experience at least once.

Picked this up on sale for$9.99. Not really a diehard GEARS fan, but the game was alright and I'll add it to the collection for $10.

I was worried about other reviews I'd heard from friends that the game would be too easy. I am happy to say that it has the perfect amount of toughness to keep me interested.

This is a remaster of the original Gears and it looks great but the gameplay shows its age a bit. I would honestly wait for Gears 4 and get it with the Gamers Club when it comes out.

Fans can appreciate a rerun back through this great saga. Yes it's a rehash but gears lovers can enjoy the new and fresh graphical presentation as well as some easter eggs.

this is a cool collection of gears of wars game. I hope the newer edition of gears of wars should be able to offer better story mode. In overall, I enjoy the game. A+++++

They love it. I didn't think they would like this game as they have Call of Duty already. There is room for both in any game shelf. Killer game, killer graphics.

Was a fan initially, but the RROD occurred and didn't go back. Now its a new generation, and a new gen installment is on the way, so perfect time to get acquainted.

I almost didn't buy this because I have the original but I'm so glad I did. This looks soo much better and it's worth reinvesting in this game.

Was excited to find a shooter with multiplayer campaign locally, since that is what I have had difficulty finding as a newbie in shooter games

I have always love the Gears of War games. I love the fact that they are couch co-op and I can play with my nephew. This is good killing fun.

Looks beautiful on my 4K television. Microsoft did an incredible job overhauling the graphics to make this incredible classic game HD.

A great classic that has aged well and is even better with upgraded graphics. I bought this on sale for $8. Anything above $8 is not worth it.

My first time playing Gears of War and can say I like the shooting mechanics better than Halo. Am looking forward to Gears of War 4
