This remake of Gears 1 is just a beautiful game packaged with a revamped SP & MP. However the multiplayer portion has a few bugs that need fixing. The single player is a great playthrough, I just wished it was at 30fps, only the multiplayer runs at 60fps. For $40 you cannot go wrong.

Not a good game. I didn't like online game play. Didn't even check if it had a campaign before I traded it in.

I honestly thought " ULTIMATE EDITION" had all three remastered....was i disappointed.

I've played the 360 versions and now this awesome collection. The details of this game thru the xbox one are sweet and the game play Is even better now.

I thought I was going to get the other games as well but didn't waste of money

no bots in multiplayer mod, don't get this game, especially with 4 out.

Gears had always been a great game and now that's it's been added to the xbox one even sicker , graphics are dope . Highly reccomend it

Been many years since I have played this game on the Xbox 360, this version is just as good, better even. They reworked everything (except the VA) and it looks and plays better, it was nice to be able to play the PC only content. I recommend this to anyone who want a great TPS or is a fan of the games on the 360, getting this now for only $40 (price as of right now) is a good deal and if you play the game before the end of the year you get all 4 Xbox 360 titles as downloads that are BC on your Xbox One, great deal :)

Played the beta and it was everything I could ever imagine. Buy this game 100% recommend to any Gears fan.

This game is going to be awesome! I remember playing the original release in 2006 and now I can look forward to the Ultimate Edition of the original Gears of War... Cannot Wait. The Golden Hunter pre order bonus skin for multiplayer is great .

Graphics are clean and plays well but I have noticed that the game glitches at times when I'm playing. Other than that the game is as amazing as it was on the 360

Gears of War Ultimate Edition doesn't really alter the original story in any way, save for including the previously PC exclusive story missions. However, the multiplayer has been tweaked and polished to a nice sheen, and the graphical upgrades are more than welcome. This is a great entry point for those new to the franchise, and a great way for series veterans to revisit a classic. The only downfall? Some consistency issues in the online multiplayer can hinder the experience quite a bit. Otherwise, this is a great way to revisit a classic.

Only the reason why I began playing Xbox in the first place. The remastered has be redone from the ground up and looks amazing!!!

Great game for fans of the original, but with much nicer graphics, sound and ambiance.

I remember playing the original Gears Of War back in 2006. It was the first game I owned for my Xbox 360. I loved every minute of it. I decided to purchase the Ultimate Edition on Black Friday for $19.99 and I am pleased with this upgrade. Granted, it's not a WOW this is truly next gen moment type game but if you enjoyed the original gears then I really think that you are going to like revisiting this old friend. Solid visuals and voice acting across the board.

I was swindled into the belief as many that this included gears 1, 2, and 3. That was not the case. We played this one time. The ironic thing is that xbox gave us all the gears games for free one month later due to the backwards compatability. If you just want to experience the remastered first gears, this is for you. If you were expecting more, you may be disappointed.
