I purchased this game and started playing it immediately. It was easy to set up on my system and has provided hours of entertainment. The skill levels are well suited to any person from beginner to experienced.

If you love the original Gears of War and you'll love this remake of it. The game has improve graphics, more content.

Best way to buy games IMO is to get them when they are in a trilogy or anthology or whatever applies to the series form. Why? Because you get all the games in a single case, saves space and less stuff to maintain. Now, I've played all the GoW games and I bought this because it was on sale for 9.99. This set is the collection of all the game + access to the beta of part 4. Story wise this game is one of a kind, it's not an xbox exclusive for no reason!.

This game is very fun to play solo or coop. Plus I read if you play this game with live before the end of the year, you will get free access to play gears 1-3 when it becomes available to download.

I was hoping for better online gameplay but the loading pages are ridiculously long. Graphics on the other hand are pretty decent one can see the improvement although the not night and day but still better.

This game had no business being re-released. There is not enough included to make it worth the retail price tag. I only recommend this for the multi-player (co-op) and getting it for $15 on black friday.

The original game about 9 years ago changed everything. There's no other game like it. The fact it's back with this new and improved console and upgraded online servers, it's a dream come true.

if your looking at this review your misding out on time you could be playing. its a total remadter from the view to online play is smooth. get it if you love gears or have never played before

If you were a huge fan of Gears of War 1 or have yet to play this game, then this is for you. Otherwise, there is not a whole lot added that makes this a necessary purchase. I wish this was like the Master Chief Collection and at least had Gears 1-3.

This was another game franchises that I had heard a lot about but had never tried before. I decided I wanted to try it but wanted to start at the beginning. I don't know if people feel as though the original was as good as this, but this remastered version is absolutely amazing. The graphics are incredible, the play is fast-paced and fun, and it's easy to get engrossed in both the characters and the gameplay. Highly recommended!

I love the game series. Was bummed that this only contained the 1st game but am happy that the other games will be added when backwards compatibility gets added in the next few weeks.

Disappointed that there was only the original game, not the full trilogy. Multiplayer does get repetitive because everyone uses a shotgun. Moved on to other games after beating the campaign.

Never played before, so nothing to compare it to. Game is GREAT, Graphics are GREAT!! Love it!!

At first I was hesitant to buy this game but I did because I'm a huge gears far. The best perk is getting the other 3 games for free since I've lost 2 of those over the years. I wish they added Horde to the game, that's why the 4 stars.

This has all three of the Gears of War games. Lots of action and story. Well worth the money!
