This is a must own Xbox One exclusive! Yes it is a remaster of the original xbox 360 version, and though the gameplay is identical, the spit polish and shine plus frame rate make this one adventure worth playing again as if it was the first time. The graphics and gameplay are top notch. If you need a Gears fix to hold you over until the current generation Gears of War 4 comes out, look no further and purchase this!

I enjoyed the new graphics and the added multiplayer to the classic Gears of War game.

I bought this game for the memories of the first game. As the Gesrs Of War franchise continued to produce similar product I lost interest. Nice graphic update with this game.

The Ultimate edition is actually a pretty silly decision if you have Gears of War for xbox 360. It is more or less the same game, yes there is a new chapter, and yes the dark graphics look a bit crisper but the game is already backwards compatible... With that said, GEARS is a GREAT GAME and if you LOVE the game, YOU MUST PICK THIS UP. I picked it up on sale, which made it SWEETER but the added levels are cool, and to be honest, I love this franchise so, yes I was going to get this game again.

I'm a big fan of GOW and this was great for going back to the game that first captured my interest. I can't recommend it enough. Epic knows how to do an HD upgrade.

Although it limits itself to control features and moves from the original Gears of War, the added maps, game modes, and overall presentation make this a great holdover until the new installment in the franchise is released.

The graphics are a lil better, but its just gears one rehashed...the new content from the pc version is definitely cool, though...the multiplayer however, is still garbage.

Love it!!! This game started it all for Xbox 360. Many makers copied features that were first introduced in GOW. It's a must get if you are a Gears fanatic! Cheers!

Campaign is awesome. Especially in co op. Multiplayer is a heap of trash. Completely inconsistent and unplayable in my opinion. Play the campaign but skip the multiplayer.

Even if you have played it before on Xbox 360, the Ultimate edition is a great buy because of its upgrade visuals and the five extra chapters you get. Must buy.

For those wondering if GOW: Ultimate Edition is merely a graphical update from it's 360 counterpart, worry not; aside from being completely remastered version GOW: UE offers a new levels to play through that were only available to PC players. The game looks stunning, and the new chapter definitely makes this worth a second play-through for the new experience. (And the price is right, too!)

The remaster looks great, but I'm not a fan of the aim acceleration in this game. MS is even adding an option in Halo 5 to adjust acceleration. Wish they did here too.

Bought this game for my husband as its his favourite. He seems to really enjoy it so far. Ordered online and it arrived release day, so very happy about that.

This is the Ultimate version of the original Gears of War. They not only updated the graphics, but have added cut scenes to the game that really give so much more debt to the whole experience. Gears was always great, but with the editions of this version, it makes it a top 10 experience! Quality, and great game. Coop also. You cannot go wrong <3
