I remember playing GOW when it first released for the original XBOX 360 and I was in love. They did an amazing job updating the graphics. It is so nice to relive the epic story on the XBOX One.

Gears of War is a must for Xbox One owners. With an interesting art style that sort of mimics a 2000 AD comic plus engaging gameplay. It's also a value for what it's priced right now.

Always been a gears of war fan, you would be left out, if you didn't get this game.

This game is to complete my gears of war collection until they release some new stuff. This game is almost as essential for xbox people. I hope everybody plays this game

I haven't played the original Gears in about 10 years so playing this again was a great trip down memory lane. The game still holds up and like always its best played in co op with a friend.

The graphics updates are beautiful to look at! Game play is still awesome and playing with friends makes the experience that much more fantastic. Can't wait for the next game in the series!

Despite being remade after nearly 10 years, the original Gears of War doesn't hold up as a quality title. While the graphics quality has improved, the game still suffers from the same problems that it had in its original release. It has poor AI, clunky mechanics and controls, and while having varied level design, I found that the changes come across as gimmicks that serve to only frustrate the player. While at its core, the Gears of War franchise is not bad, this game's preceding sequels serve as a much better representation of the COG's struggle against the horde.

Game is great just as the series has always been. Very Addicting easy to beat.

If you played the Xbox 360 version you are in for a visual surprise it is a treat for your eyes. It also includes a level only available on pc. A great game only made better. A must play.

Yes this is the same old Gears with more streamlined controls and obvious visual upgrades... There is some added content but the issues that persisted in the original especially with AI still are present in this... Get it cheap you will like it

I was a huge fan of the series when it came out. I am healthily skeptical of remastered because they have the potential to not be worth much. This one is assuredly worth purchasing

Same great game you remember from back in the day. The mechanics are little dated but not game breaking. The game looks beautiful and still tons to play. ENJOY!

I normally don't buy the same game twice, however, this is an exception . Forgot how great this game was. If you have not played this, I highly recommend it. The story is incredible

I haven't played through the full campaign yet, but it's just as fun as all the other GOW games...plus you can play online with friends also. Worth it if you get it on super sale.

We're happy to finally see this on the Xbox One and its still is lots of fun, looks and sounds great as well. Can't wait for the next in the series to come out!! Great job here!
