I don't play video games very often but this is a game you can turn on and play from anywhere for a few minutes to a few hours. The story line is entertaining and the missions are diverse.

Grand theft auto 5 is much better than the other ones that have came out. The graphics and how they have Los angles in the game down to the T.

The singleplayer is compelling--I found most of the missions to be exciting and fast-paced, which really made the few boring fetch quests or Point A to Point B missions stand out as bad. The three characters make the game varied and offer a respite from any downtime (say when you crash your car into the lake with the nearest street a few miles hike away. Multiplayer can be a blast, especially with all the variety of activities--having friends online will relieve you from experiencing the game's horrible matchmaking. 9.2/10

As with all the Grand theft auto games, great game play and very open to just drive around, Then play the storyline if you would like.

Gta 5 allows you to switch between 3 characters throughout the single player campaign. There are approx. 100 missions if you decide to complete them all. Any mission you can't complete after 3 tries you can skip (new feature). There are plenty of vehicles, airplanes and sea crafts to use within the game to complete your objectives. For the achievements, some of the missions are really boring... (collect 100 of these pages, collect 50 of these waste containers, ect.) expect to spend some time if you want all those achievements. The online feature works well. You have the option to go passive and cannot shoot/be shot if you decide, however you can still be blown up in your car... The downside to online is 3/4 of it is PvP. Racing, Deathmatch and team Deathmatch are a large majority of online play. There are some co-op missions, but they unlock at certain levels... So upon starting don't expect much. All the co-op missions have lives so if you have a dumb teammate that runs into the fray, you might not succeed. Overall it's a great game that deserves its 9.0 rating. Gta 6 needs some improvements though, we'll see!
