Good and fun single player and Co op. Multiplayer leaves abit to be desired but fun with friends. Halo 3 was better multiplayer.

Microsoft must be proud of this game! Graphics are amazing and more realistic in this version, i played all Halo's versions and will keep on that.

Halo is definitely one of my favorite games. The one downfall to this version of halo is that there is no split screen option to play with others

This game keeps everything that worked in the old installments then adds a little seasoning on top to keep it fresh. A must have for true halo fans.

there's no splitscreen multiplayer and that can really deter people who have friends over to play it but the gameplay will overshadow it regardless.

Halo fan from day one. 343 has done a good job with the sequels but I doesn't hit the high notes that 2 and Reach hit.

The story will annoy some fans bite multiplayer is awesome! The new game modes and Spartan abilities really are a game changer.

The story was okay, not the best out of the halo series. This game is for the multiplayer, smooth gun mechanics and great maps.

Holds up to the halo franchise. The only downfall is I cannot coplay with my kids. The sole reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5.

I all not great at the Halo series, but regardless this game is fun to play. Graphics and experience are amazing and the story is good al around.

Story is a bit iffy but the gameplay is all there. Multiplayer is a blast (as it should be) and the new quirks just make everything more enjoyable.

So, my favorite part about the Halo series has always been sitting on a couch with a friend trying to co-op conquer the campaign on legendary or take on others with online split screen. Cannot express how depressed I was to find out that Halo 5 does not support split screen for either the campaign or multiplayer. Dang. They want you and your friend to each buy a TV, each buy an Xbox One, each buy a copy of the game, and each buy a Xbox Live Gold membership (59.99/year, though the game does come with a 14 day Gold trial). The biggest appeal to this game was always as a way to interact with friends, and face challenges side by side, but I guess those days are over. They want to milk as much money out of each of us as they can. If I wanted to play this game with my friends online and use my own entirely separate set-up, I would have bought this for my PC, which is much more powerful than any Xbox One. Really considering returning this if best buy will let me. Pretty let down. As for the game itself, the campaign is ridiculously short, like Fable (the first one, for all you old gamers) short, maybe 7-9 hours. The multiplayer feels more like call of duty. Not that I don't like Call of Duty, but I play CoD because I want to play CoD, I buy Halo because I want to play Halo.On the whole, it just isn't the Halo I knew and loved, maybe it's just 343 studios. In closing, I really miss the golden days when Halo was made by Bungie. Will definitely be my last Halo purchase as long as 343 is behind it.
