The game is awesome as expected from a Halo game. The reason for 4 stars is that installing the game was a very painful process, after 2 days and a long research on line not in 343 Industries website I was able to get it installed. The game installed + updates is 82GB.

After playing the Beta I had high hopes for this game. Now I Feel 343i has killed Halo for ever. If you like COD you will probably like this game but, if you are looking for the classic Halo experience you wont find it.

Campaign is just a showcase of new mechanics. Glad to see Nathan fillion made into a Spartan after his long history with halo. Spend your multiplayer halo time with the master chief collection.

This is a long running series and my kids and I love playing these games. Halo 5 takes a new twist in main character relationships. Online mode brings in new types of online play. I like Warzone Firefight, it puts a team of Spartans against computer generated enemy aliens in timed rounds.

Fun game, but I think Halo has ran its course as a franchise. It was always sell well, but I think there is just a sense of "been there done that" when it comes to this game. Shooters in general need to take a step back and reevaluate their place in the video game genre.

Bought this game for my boyfriend because he had to have it, and he loves it. I would definitely recommend this to my friends if their boyfriends are annoying them.. It will def keep them occupied and give them some peace and quiet :)

This game and a couple of others were the reason I picked the Xbox One over the PS4. Halo is one of the few games that my wife and I enjoy playing together and we were looking forward to the release of Halo 5. We got ready to play it just to find out that split screen play was no longer an option. Apparently Microsoft made the decision to change the gameplay in order to keep the frame rate at 60fps and not have the graphics suffer. In my opinion it was a bad decision because the graphics are still mediocre for a next gen console. After the amount of time spent developing this game it is a giant bust.

Overall the game is amazing, it did take some time to get use to. Controls are all the still the same from Halo 4. New maps and online games. Only thing that sucks is you can not play with 2 or more players on the same console as you use to....huge negative for me..

As I said in my review of the Xbox one counsel having to wait for hours just to play was a little discouraging. I didn't expect that with a new game I had the disk for. can't wait to play the two tomb raider games that came with the counsel that don't have a disk!

I've always liked the Halo series and this games looks and feels great. But...it is missing couch co-op. This is one thing I loved about the other Halo games...the ability to play locally with my friends and family. Really missing this feature this time around.

The game itself is great I love the story, the only problem is the updates sizes. The updates as of now are 80 gb. that would destroy your data cap or if you have poor internet take probably a month.

I usually play Halo for the single player experience, but the plot was very lackluster compared to previous installments. The online is great so far. If you play halo for the online then it is money well spent.

So many people did not care for Halo 5 but for me it is a welcome addition to the Halo saga. I take everything with a grain of salt and enjoy it for what it is. Similar and new at the same time. I bought it on sale for $26.00 not $60.00. Go BestBuy! Get and come to your own conclusions.

Removing the option for local dual player was a bad choice. The split screen action was one of my favorite ways to play in previous editions. Otherwise, the game is a good continuation of previous versions.

In Halo 5: The Guardians you get to play (even solo) as a team which is new. You or your teammates can revive each other if you get there in time and you can tag your enemies for your teammates to go after. Your team is also your weapon if you use it correctly.

I love the Halo series, so when this game came out I had to get my hands on it. My only two complaints are these: I don't like fire team Osiris, and I am way upset they got rid of co-operative play. How am I supposed to play this with my wife if we can't play offline? Very disappointed.

The halo gameplay is what i have come to expect from the series, even though it is no longer being made by Bungie. The story on the other hand was disappointing after the great story in Halo 4.

Overall it's good, possibly great if your a multiplayer junkie. The solo play for the campaign is a little too short for a game of this magnitude. Great story and lots of cut scenes to tell the story.

I actually ordered this game as a Christmas present a year ago, but then the release date got changed and he just received it a few weeks ago. He loves the game and was unusually patient. I was a little perturbed that I had to wait a year for my son to get one of his gifts however.

I hate Micro transactions, give us the game free and I ll accept them. The game is good looking, but battling hybrid alien robots, and not playing master chief for most of the game killed it for me.
