I bought this for my 10 year old nephew. While I think it’s a little too much for his age, he and his father love it! We also got it on sale so we were very pleased with the price!

One thing I always loved about Halo is the storylines and the featurettes between the boards. This game's videos and storyline are very disjointed and don't make a lot of sense. But, overall, it is a very enjoyable game.

Bought this for my grandson so I'm not the one who will use it...but it was on his Christmas gift list. It was shipped and received within 1 week so I'm happy, hope he is also.

I love playing Halo and this one was great. But the campaign left me lacking as well as a cliff hanger ending didn't help. It is probably the weakest of the main halo games story wise. Still a lot of fun to play though.

The game is great but at the same time they took away some of the best parts about HALO. I just hope that they realize that being able to pick what category like BR battle fight was one of the perks of this games online.

This game is much better than Halo 4 and the Master Chief Collection. I have enjoyed playing this a lot more than the previous two games. It however does not receive 5 stars because there is no local multiplayer options.

343 productions delivers another great episode in this blockbuster series. The single missions are challenging, and a nice improvement. Fans of the series will be happy and new initiates will appreciate the introduction.

Remember when Halo 2 came out? The Campaign was just as good or better than the original. Then Halo 3 came out and changed Multiplayer forever; freakin' flame grenades man! I don't really remember Halo 4, except that it had jetpacks, the coolest thing ever! Now we have Halo 5, and there ain't no jetpacks, no flame grenades, the campaign is pretty weak - I mean, Cortana, WTF Cortana! And enough with those dematerializing robot things. I miss taking out Covenant grunts to save the Universe. #halo24ever

Recommended for fans of the series. No breakthrough concepts nor evolved gameplay. Campaign too short. Multiplayer is as good as expected but nothing ultimately special.

This game has a crisp online multiplayer experience. I can't say that about the single player was the same. Very repetitive. This game is an all-star collage of shooters.

Yes, this is the worst mainline halo game, but that's not a big deal. It still has a good narrative, though I agree the balance between Locke/MC is not quite right, and not as informative to the story as the Arbiter/MC mix was. It mainly exists to heighten the conflict between the two. I like the way game treats the narrative threads laid by Halo 4, but it honestly leaves a big question as to the future of the franchise going forward.

I am a big halo fan. I have all of them still and love to play the MCC. This one on the other hand seems like a compilation of many other shooters that came out this year. No co-op on same system like the old ones. Default squad of four Spartans (which I believed all but master chief dead). Spartan charges (shoulder charge from destinys Titan class). Spartan smashes (fist of havoc from destinys Titan class). Sprint has been added. All guns have the ability to aim down the sights. Revive capabilities that are the only useful part of you Spartan squad. Just for the game to be nothing but filler to the next one.

I havent even touched multi-player yet, and despite the naysayers, I'm actually enjoying the story line. I'm very pleased that co-op mode is available so that I can play through and enjoy the campaign with my friends.

I would like to give this game a 5 star,but it has no split screen or spartan ops like halo 4,so it gets a 3 star. It is still a good game for the next halo installment.

The Master Chief is still the best.my kids and I enjoy playing this game. What we didn't like was the space it sucked up on the Xbox one...and how long it took to download. But that's a Xbox one problem. This game is very enjoyable.

The storyline is good and the gameplay is the same if you played the previous Halo games. gameplay is essentially the same you've enjoyed from past Halo games.

Disappointment in not being able to play split screen with friends and family. This as it is just another reflection of the weak hardware that was chosen for Xbox one.

Im used to the older halo games; this is much more like modern shooters and less of a storyline in my opinion but still a fun game. Haven't gotten into online play much yet

Was looking forward to playing split screen with my brother like we have always played halo but they cut that option out of this game. So upset I won't even play it.

Great graphics and continuation of the Halo franchise. However, don't plan on playing co-op on your console with your kid. The only way to play co-op is through gold.
