Halo built itself as a fun, sit on the couch with your buddies and play co-op campaign or multiplayer on Live. (Halo 1 didn't even support online.) Can't do this anymore. What was 343 thinking!? If I only cared about graphics and playing by myself I would just play everything on my PC. Game could be perfect in every way and perfect graphics (neither of which it does) but if it doesn't even support splitscreen then what is the point? Sad direction that console gaming is going.

First off, i'm not a campaign player. I only play this game for the multiplayer. With that in mind, this game is just ok. I'm not a big fan. I still find myself playing Halo 3 rather than this. This reminds me of reach and halo 4. Reach was not too bad, but 4 just didnt do it for me. I was really hoping they'd revamp the online play but no luck. I hate that i cant set the controls to the Halo 3 buttons. If you're a HUGE halo fan, maybe you'll get into it. I feel that the COD franchise makes each game better...different but better. Halo seems to be going in the opposite direction.

Im a big Halo fan and was looking forward for this game to release but when i started playing i feel like something is missing there is alot of opposition from the covenant wich is good but to me it doesn't have that Halo feeling

Awesome story and fun multiplayer. But there is no splitscreen. kinda a let down considering spliscreen has been a classic feature since halo combat evolved.

Halo epic franchise in first person shooter abs fantasy. Best space story ever . Dive deep into the universe with master chief and get your big on.

My fiance already has this, so we knew we had to get this for our friend for Christmas. We're so excited to give it to him because he loves playing it when he's over at our place!

So in short this is a much better game than Halo 4. It is still a stones throw from Halo 2 or 3, but it is closer to traditional shooters. Mash that in with it varied play modes which work very well for people who might want more of a PVE experience while still having PvP as a functioning and thought out experience. The downside? Microtransactions. People willing to dump more money into this will get REQ packs, that gve them better weapons in PvP and PvE.

I'm a big fan of Halo and have played them all since the beginning. This game doesn't disappoint and feels like a really good addition to the already strong franchise. You won't be disappointed either!

I think this is one of the best halo games that I've played. I only wish that game was setup to play more than one player off line. Other than that I would definitely recommend this game to my friends.

This is a great game, and a good continuation of the Halo series. However, I wish the game had local multiplayer (it only has multiplayer of Live!), and I wish the story line could be a little longer.

The Graphics are amazing, but the gameplay is stale and not particularly exciting. When I finish the campaign i will probably sell it on Ebay or something.

First off, the ads for this have all been a lie, there is no Locke vs Chief conflict. Multiplayer is same old halo but enough additions to make it great.

This game got a lot of hype, it's definitely good don't get me wrong, but I don't see anything special about it. However if you even a little bit of a Halo fan, I would recommend getting this game.

This Game Is a good FPS, But it is not a Halo game, If you where Expecting halo gameplay that you have known and loved, then i suggest you wait and see If they can get it right with Halo 6. But if you are just wanting to try out a FPS feel free to hop in and play, This would be alot better as a New IP then using the Halo name to sell it. As far as Campaign goes, It's lacking in both story and length. It's over way too quick, The story is Subpar to what we are used too and ends on a unresolved Cliffhanger, Which we won't see a satisfactory continuation in till Halo 6

I've never been a Halo fan, but I bought an Xbox One S and I thought I should have a Halo game with it. Since I think if your going to have an Xbox, a Halo game should be in your library. I was surprised to find the game had a boring single player campaign. The guns felt weak, the enemies were bullet sponges that don't react to you shots. The game is pretty, but I seen better visuals on over shooters. It's probably not the Halo game to start with if your new to the series. I was expecting a Blockbuster campaign and found an average shooter.

I enjoyed it for what it's worth. There are a lot of opinions out there, I think you just need to experience it for yourself. The shooting is great, visuals are awesome, and the story wasn't that bad

It's fun, but just doesn't have the classic feel of Halo. Campaign is alright and multiplayer is fun... But stop changing the controller setup please!!!

Halo 5 tried something different. By having two teams of Spartans, it told a tale of the changing universe, and while it was fun, it didn't truly feel like Halo.

I've been a halo fan since the original came out about a decade ago and I've been hooked since to the point now that it's turned into a family game. My sons love it as much as I do Super entertaining I highly recommend it.

Bought this for my 10 year old son. Was a bit worried about the PG-13 rating but now do not feel that it is overly violent but others can judge this. My son loves playing it and I enjoy watching him enjoy it
