This is a proper Halo game, and I'm generally a big fan of the changes and gameplay. However, the graphics are pretty bad, and the small selections of multiplayer maps is inexcusable. There are only 4 or 5 maps in rotation for Team Slayer, which has left me tired of them after only a few hours of playing. Of course, there will be map packs to buy, which is really insult to injury. It seems clear to me that the game shipped with few maps to corner the user into buying the packs later. This is BS.

I didn't buy this for myself. I got it for a friend and we haven't talked since then. I always get txts from that person saying, "Hey I'm playing Halo.. ttyl :P" soo I'm guessing it's good!?

Multiplayer is strong and brings up the value. If you can overlook the lackluster campaign, you got yourself a solid shooter.

The story wasn't very compelling for me. Cut-scene cgi rendering was good, but the gameplay graphics were the usual fps. eh..

...and still disappointed. I tried I just couldn't get into it. The graphics were great, but gameplay just wasnt fun for me.

Purchased for my teenage son, he loves playing this game. Nice surprise was the price must have gone down from when I purchased it because he ended up with a credit after he downloaded it.

I was a bit skeptical at first about purchasing this game, but after spending a few hours playing it, I have to say that it was very well designed and optimized for the XBox One platform.

My kids were so excited that they finally came out with a "T" rated Halo, since we don't do "M" games at our house. They love it so far and love playing over xbox live with their friends.

Well, I got this as a gift for a friend during X-Mas season.... He absolutely loved this game, beyond his expectations. All because he's all into the halo story games. Totally recommend.

Has so far been a great game with awesome new features and gameplay. Although i was looking forward to rewards for having pre-ordered it, i simply received the game.

I love the campaign mode, and multiplayer is fun. The fact that two people can't play on the same console is ridiculous.

An excellent multiplayer mode which the Halo series continues to improve on. Campaign has a bit of a confusing story line to follow but if you're playing online it can be fun with friends

The single player is very weak. No split screen co-op. The multiplayer is fun, as usual, but there is a lack of game modes.

halo doesnt disappoint again. As in the past the game is very realistic and addicting. Graphics are really good too

My only complaint would be that local, split-screen co-op has been removed. Other than that, it is pretty incredible. I love the updated look and feel of the weapons. They did a fine job.

I'm not sure that this game really lives up to the hype. It's a good game for the arena part but if you're in it for the campaign it is a little bit of a let down.

The lackluster marketing campaign for the hunt for truth was very upsetting. But the multiplayer held it's own.

It felt a little different than previous Halo games. I did enjoy the campaign and multiplayer combat is faster than ever.

I love the series and so far I think it has come a long ways from the begging to now. I do wish that their wasn't as many minor glitches in the game. Still a buy!

When I began playing this, I was so surprised how quickly the intensity picked up. The only bad thing is that you miss a lot if you are not aware of back stories.
