After eagerly waiting in anticipation for over a year for Halo 5 to be released, I can honestly say that in my opinion it wasn't worth the hype. Finishing Halo 4 was an accomplishment: it stayed new, exciting, and challenging throughout the campaign. So far with the campaign mode on Halo 5, it leaves something to be desired. The levels feel like they're all the same with no real "wow event" to make them feel individual. Plus, I'm not a "hardcore" gamer, but on the normal difficulty setting, this game just isn't challenging.

Halo 5, in my opinion, is the worst Halo in the series. The hyped up single player mode story is LAME!!! The multiplayer is ruined by a 'req' system and the graphics are only ok.

I had to buy an Xbox to get this game because my kid begged me for it. Put in game kid played it for 10 mins and was like ya. I don’t like this game.

The game is fun for guys, because it’s fighting. Great to play during rainy or cold days when your stuck indoors

Best Halo multiplayer since Halo 2! This game has received support since launch and its great to see the competitive scene thrive. Long live 343!

I'm a avid halo fan but ever since 343 took over game lost its touch. Story is ok but multiplayer is garbage only good mode is team swat wouldn't waste my money if I was you.

Huge Halo Fan here. Campaign and story was awful and boring. I was so hyped for this game when it was revealed.

A great FPS - but you cannot have 4 friends sitting together in one room blasting each other. That is my favorite way to play and you cannot with Halo 5. :(

Quite a robust multiplayer mode. Single player no longer has split screen co-op, nor is the story interesting or exciting enough to warrant more than one quick pass through.

This is a great Halo game but I feel like that is part of the problem. No real innovation, nothing really new except for microtransactions. Its fun but it feels like filler.

I cannot find, like in fifa17 (by instance), the option for two players, whatever path I follow it drives me to the online game so I have to get a gold membership.

After playing the Beta I expected a lot more from this game. It doesn't do much to stand out from other shooters in general, just an average addition to the Halo franchise.

Of you are looking for a good co-op game to play with you friends then this is the game for you but if you are looking to play alone I would recommend the other halo games.

Don’t waste your money if you want to play split-screen co-op. It’s not possible with Halo 5. So disappointed as this was supposed to be a fun quarantine activity for us to play together. We played the other Halos and were excited for this one. Why the change??? We can’t return it now that it’s open. Zero stars

I used to love the halo series. But it has been recycled too many times. Nothing innovative..same thing every year now..just rush it out n collect the buyers money Xbox.

It seems I'm one of the few people that play Halo for the singleplayer campaign anymore. The campaign in Halo 5 is the most boring one that has ever been in a Halo game.

next one needs to focus on master chief more, not interested in Locke. This isn't a bad game, but it's the worst of the 5 main ones. Didn't play the multiplayer

Bit disappointed by this game. What made halo great is gone.. I know we are to evolve, but you have to keep the original greatness and expand that.. Very sad about that

Good game but would be nice if there was option for multiplayer warfare like on the original verison.

This game was true to halo series but ultimately Dissapointing. No multiplayer and I finished the game in a few days. Not worth it unless you really love this series
