A game to play more than once! My friends love it, too!

This isn't a game for casuals for sure. It also packs most content behind random loot boxes. Co-op Campaign doesn't have matchmaking. Need a Xbox Live Gold membership to access most of the game. Not recommended for solo players.

Bought it for less than 18 dollars as pre owned game

Another Halo game. This one is short story wise. And you only play as master chief for 3 out of 15 missions. And several missions are cut scenes. So it really is a short game. I guess Halo is like CoD now. A game simply for multiplayer.

The campaign is dull. The multiplayer is completely over-hyped. I mean it's great if you are ok with there maps and they all look and play the same.

There is absolutely no local co-op in this game. If you are looking to play this with friends that do no own an Xbox one, pass it up.

After last year's Halo MCC was such a debacle I wasn't sure how Halo 5 would perform at launch. Well, it performed better than I had hoped for. Matchmaking works well and the multiplayer modes (Warzone and Arena# are awesome. The campaign reminded me a bit about Halo 2. Spoiler ALERT: Yes, there is a nasty cliff hanger. The graphics are stunning, fluid and even on 24 player games run on 60 fps without a hitch. Microsoft will over the next 7 months release 15 additional multiplayer maps as DLCs. Best of all here: They will be FREE for everyone. One little downside: Thinking about COOP campaign locally via split screen? Sorry that doesn't work anymore. No local split screen - coop campaign is only available online. Not even with local system link like on the previous Halo versions. You need to connect via Xbox Live. Oh and on 11/15/15 Halo 5 will get an update to include FORGE. The same day the first 4 new multiplayer maps will be released #all forge based maps created my the world's top forgers and then refined by the 343 team).

I never played the other Halos. This one is ok. Didn't finish the game got bored with it. I'm sure if you like the series it's good. But I didn't have the patience to learn a new game like this.
