This is a really solid game! Only took me about a week of straight play to beat it. Girlfriend says I kind of smell though... Anyways, great story, great graphics, even better weapon layout! Couldn't believe the number of new, good weapons on it, and new vehicle and vehicle mods! And to top it off, amazing online play! I couldn't have asked for a better game! If you love first person shooters and rich campaign/story modes, this game is definitely the one for you!!

Nothing wrong with the product but 343 didn't do well with this game. Other people may like it but I didnt. I feel like the halo franchise went downhill after Halo 3.

Halo 5 delivers in each category. The campaign's graphics provide a notable upgrade to its predecessor while still keeping true to the amazing controls during gameplay. The multiplayer mode is equipped with exciting new maps and some fancy new weapons. This game is a lot of fun!

The campaign sucks if you're a halo lore fan and you can't split screen WHATSOEVER. However, the campaign is extremely fun and the multiplier is addictive because of the REQ system that they introduced. I play this often and I think its currently the best new Xbox one game.

Glad I Didn't Pass It Up

I've been a Halo fan since the days when Bungie showed off concept cinematics for Combat Evolved. I've followed Halo closely, and I've enjoyed each and every one--especially campaign co-op. I came very close to "retiring" from Halo after Halo 4, simply because of my interest in other things, but I bit the bullet and picked up Guardians, though it was not my reason for purchasing an Xbox One. I've been really enjoying all aspects of the game, including multiplayer's Warzone. It feels somewhat like Battlefield, but it retains its Halo elements. It still sings a tune that resonates with all its predecessors, despite its evolution--something much needed to stay alive in this industry, even with its name. And I'm very glad I didn't pass it up!

    Horrible Story!!! So disappointed :(

The game play of Halo is awesome as usual. The graphic amazing. However, the story and new (replacement of Master Chief) Locke is the dumbest and inconsistent story line! Locke completely destroys the lore of Halo (Not to mention so does the stupid B rated movies). The end climax is the only saving grace of the story. However, you see this coming from mission one. My only advise is to play the game and don't get in to the story or try to figure out how Locke fits in Halo Lore.

    Great Multiplayer, Good Campaign

Halo 5 brings the Halo franchise one step further with an improved multiplayer and a fun campaign. I would say the multiplayer is similar to Halo 3's multiplayer but slightly better. I thoroughly enjoyed Halo 3's multiplayer and think it was one of my favorite multiplayer experiences. In terms of campaign, the storyline is once again very interesting. However, my one major gripe for this game is due to the campaign. Playing campaign single player can be thoroughly frustrating. There are always three other AI "teammates" at your side but they are more harmful than helpful.

    Slight Dissapointment

After eagerly waiting in anticipation for over a year for Halo 5 to be released, I can honestly say that in my opinion it wasn't worth the hype. Finishing Halo 4 was an accomplishment: it stayed new, exciting, and challenging throughout the campaign. So far with the campaign mode on Halo 5, it leaves something to be desired. The levels feel like they're all the same with no real "wow event" to make them feel individual. Plus, I'm not a "hardcore" gamer, but on the normal difficulty setting, this game just isn't challenging. Everyone has been praising the online multiplayer mode, Warzone, but compared to the online multiplayer modes found in Destiny, I find that it just doesn't stack up. What Halo used to be known for was their excellent split-screen co-op mode. With their recent decision to remove the local multiplayer feature from Halo 5, the game truly isn't the same. Warzone feels like a beta version of what it could be. Confusing objectives, glitchy overall feel, and simple gameplay with no way to truly customize the experience make the online multiplayer a turn-off. Now, I know I've been rather harsh on the cons of Halo 5, but allow me to share the improvements as well. The graphics have immensely improved, the campaign mode is easier to navigate, and the storyline continues to prove interesting. However, in my opinion, I'm not sure that these minor improvements outweigh the negatives that Halo 5 brings along with it. Halo 5 certainly doesn't compare to Halo 4 or Destiny, but for die-hard fans I'm sure this is an exciting new release. I would just encourage you to consider what you're losing with Halo 5 before you spend $60.
