Doesn’t Feel Like Halo
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Campaign: It’s like the devs made a generic shooter then decided it needed to be Halo so they customized it. Campaign storyline is horrendous and is not engaging and I’ve never felt like I was going through the motions like this is a Halo game. I wanted to love the Republic Commando inspired squad controls but ultimately this doesn’t have any tactical feel to it. Multiplayer is exactly the same as Halo 4 so if you liked that then you will like this but other than a few gimics with power ups it’s tge same. Free maps are an interesting concept. Micro transactions have an effect in combat but you don’t feel heavily disadvantaged if you’re not using them. This just doesn’t feel like Halo anymore.
