The game is ok. Gameplay is a bit too fast for my liking, but admittedly I'm not much of FPS fan. I got the game on sale so it was worth it, not sure if it's worth the full price at 59.99

Halo 5 will not support multiplayer split screen co-op. You can only play the campaign on full screen and if you want to play campaign multiplayer it has to be done online. This will ruin the franchise. People who grew up with Halo know the fun on playing the game with your friends in the same room. I can't image the Halo franchise surviving. They are doing this to sell more copies of the game instead of focusing on the fans opinions.

the game is fun and the visuals are stunning...Still left a lot to be desired and I traded it back in within a week, right after I beat the game on my second or third sitting.

I like how Halo 5 goes back to its roots, and is truer to the earlier Halos. For example, online rank is based on skill & everyone starts with the same weapons.

Halo has always been a fun series and fantastic story telling. This iteration lacks both. Difficulty is translated to getting one shot by everything. Characters that we've grown to love over the series are underused or outright made bad guys now. Wth? You play a character, Locke, who is uninteresting. And they repeat the same boss fight over and over and over again! Save your money and skip or rent.

While there are some great new and more interactive modes for GP the graphics SUCK BAD! I feel like plugging in halo 2, easier on the eyes than this "new" game.

This game is poorly put together, after so many years they have successfully gone backwards. Absolute waste of money, multiplayer is border line pathetic, the campaign is painfully boring and I would be embarrassed to recommend this game to a friend. There is nothing positive to say about this game other than the opening scene that has nothing to do with the actual gameplay or abilities of the characters.

The game was mediocre at best. It was hyped as a hunt for Master Chief with mystery surrounding why he'd go AWOL... but in the end nothing came of this. It was just more covenant shooting with some Prometheans sprinkled in. Nothing new or compelling.

This game will not have split screen. I do not know about forge or any of those other features. Split Screen was one of those cool things that Halo has had, and now they take it away.

Single player review only - not multi. I had to offset the fake positives here. Halo 5 stinks. Lame story line. Same repetitive fighting (incredibly boring). Would call it an appetizer for Halo 6 but if you were served this appetizer in a restaurant, you'd send it back. Seriously - the previous Halos are so far better than this one. Maybe they need to get Bungie back because man, I do want my money back on this shell of a Halo.

This game errors out 90% of the time with an error: Error authorizing user with Halo 5: Guardians services. You will be unable to access online modes. Press A. And then that's it! After doing an online search, hundreds of other users have this problem, and 343/Microsoft tech support resolution is. Hard reset your Xbox. ie: turn your XBox off and on! Really?!?!?! At any rate, that doesn't work! What does work is, don't play for a weeks, come back and try again, it might work. If it doesnt, come backing another few weeks, it might work.

The campaign is boring. There is only one boss, who is just a harder version of a typical enemy. The various levels just make you fight more of the same "boss". The levels are very straight forward with no thought required beyond "shoot aliens". The multiplayer is very unbalanced and inconsistent. The system for putting you with similar leveled players is HUGELY flawed. Since gaining my level i have never come close to breaking even in k/d. Before the rating it was at least a 50/50 chance. After this I'm never getting a Halo game again.

not very impressed with this game at all. would take halo 2 on the original xbox all day long over this game. defiantly rested on halo fans buying cause they are halo fans

So Disappointed! NO LOCAL CO-OP AT ALL! That's what I've enjoyed with my son all these Halo years man. Taking turns to play sux. Otherwise the game's cool. No Forge!?!? CMOn!

This is probably the first mass shooter multyplayer game that does not allow the user with the friends unless they don't pay extra cash. This game allow only one per per console and does not have local lane features. That mean even if you are villing to own one game and console for player you still have to pay xbox live gold if you wanna play with friends, that is the only purpouse of the games. Don't waste your money on this or the xbox one

The campaign is ok but I wish there was more substance to it. Also, the multiplayer is nothing special. Wish there was more to it
