Not exactly what you would expect from the Halo series: a game that has you less than half the time playing as the Master Chief, but it has a new flair for squad combat and change in multiplayer. I'm glad to see Halo make changes that were needed to keep the community engaged and to change up the single player experience so you don't have to feel like a one man army. Still, not a fan of Locke though...

Quite liked the campaign mode, really enjoyed following the two teams. Finally getting to see some of the Spartans from the books was a real treat. I was sad that there was no single console co-op, my partner and I usually play Legendary together. Multiplayer is loads of fun and I enjoy the different modes, can't wait for big team play. Overall a really fun game.

this is a pretty fun game that looks great in 4k and hdr.

This is different than any other halo before. Completly changed the sytle of play were all used to playing, for the food not worse. The bad is no more splitscreen for better graphics, and yet theres still fps issues with the enemies running at 30 fps and everything else at 60fps. Would of much rather lower the graphics and not taken a thing we all enjoyed having.

If you are a halo diehard you need this game!! Storyline and multiplayer are awesome!!

Great game with wonderful graphics. I am lifelong PlayStation owner, but my family surprised me with an Xbox One for Christmas so as I am a Destiny fan I thought one thing I have to play is Halo. I'm really glad I did it is so much fun. I haven't played any others though so I can't compare to the older games. The only thing I could use is a longer solo campaign, but that's always the case for me.

Great new graphics online play is great, the new massive pvp is great

Great multiplayer fun, warzone mode is a great new addition to the mix. Overall, the campaign is a bit short and not wholly satisfying - leaves you hanging a bit until Halo 6. Product received from BB slightly damaged cover and label when picked up, frustrating overall with the carelessness. I didn't notice the issue until I got home and had opened the package.

Mediocre story but great game play and it's buttery smooth at 60 fps.

I think a lot of people were skeptical that anybody other than Bungie could make a great Halo game but 343 Studios should squash those fears after creating two of the best in the franchise. It's also nice to see that they worked hard on making sure to alleviate any fears of the online function not working after last years release of MCC. An incredible game that looks great while you're playing it.

The new sequel is here! The game has changed a bit. It is now a squad based shooter, so if you love single player be prepared for some very dumb AI. Coop requires Xbox Live Gold. Single Player story is very short in comparison to past games. Online is excellent and has some awesome new modes.

Being a huge Halo fan since the OG Xbox days and having played all the games in the series Halo 5 is a mixed bag. The campaign is probably one of the weakest in the series, but multiplayer is the best it has been since Halo 2. Highly recommend it as a purchase for online shooter fans, but if you are just in it for the campaign do yourself a favor and rent it.
