Halo Saga Continues
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is about as solid a franchise/series as it gets. Whether you're been there from the start or are just now discovering the world of Halo and Master Chief, you are in good hands. Just like all good series, everyone will have an opinion on which is best, but most will agree that all are worth playing.

Great game but missing something
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.HALO 5 is a great game, smooth high definition video with seamless action. Unfortunately can't enjoy it with the family as well since they chose not to support split screen. The game play on xbox live is great but just can't get past not being able to play with ftiends/family at home.

Great game!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After the disaster that was the master chief collection I was weary of purchasing this game! However I have not had a single problem with the multiplayer portion of the game since it came out. The gameplay is much different from the previous Halo installments but in a good way. Overall very impressed with the game!

It's not the best Halo
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a Halo game. Visually stunning but mediocre campaign. Multiplayer is the star of this game, but it's not the same Halo multiplayer that made Halo the franchise it is today. It's not the worst, but it is far from the best.

Another Classic
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I do not play Halo for all the multiplayer, I prefer to play through the story. This is another classic with upgraded graphics. For this reason I cannot say I would pay $60, but I had some reward points, gamer's club and the $10 reward bonus. It was definitely worth that cost to me.

Good game to play with friends
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Didn't like it at first. I'm an fps junkie and it still took me some time to get my bearings right with this. I can't lie and say I'm a die hard Halo fan so take this review with that in mind. After teaming up with friends though I have to admit that I'm really starting to enjoy it.

King Kong has nothing on Halo 5
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I pre-ordered Halo 5 for my 18 yr old brother-in-law. He tried to pick up the game at midnight over at best buy-Gulgate location in Houston,TX. He seemed to have a hard time being able to pick up the game he needed my credit card information...even though Best Buy ONLY requires government issued ID and purchase order number when someone else is picking up for me. Anyways, they then late said they couldn't give him the game because "the computers" were down. I believe the people working that shift were incompetent, therefore didn't know how to provide the game...... ANYWAYS, he then later went during the day and finally picked up the game and immediately began playing it. I usually like to watch him play xbox games because he makes things look so easy and he is WAY better than me. He was screaming and laughing during game play, which to me translates to enjoyment. He is playing that game for days and it's usually the 1st thing does when he gets home from classes.

AMAZING
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fist off its been a while since I played halo (due to switching to PS4) but since I've recently gone back to Xbox and last time playing a halo game was with halo 2! The same magic that made me feel in love with the original game is still in this game! Get it! Trust me you won't regret it!

Mixed Bag
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The campaign is probably harder than average, but no couch co-op. And considering the campaign is meant to be played with others, you're forced to play together online. Multiplayer has some new and interesting modes to make it worth a purchase, but the story ends on a cliff-hanger.

Finally back to the basics
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wasn't the biggest fan of Halo 4, and loved Halo 2 and Halo 3. This game is much more like Halo 2 & 3 which is why I chose to continue with the series. The campaign is decent and fairly short like most of the Halo campaigns. I buy the game for the online multiplayer and in my opinion that does not disappoint.

More of a classic
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great game play. Disappointed that there is no split screen co-op BUT, with the frame rate of the game I can understand they took it away. Multi-player is always fun. If you are a fan of the series you will fit right in. New to the game and it will take some time to get used to.

I love HALO
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm only really just starting the coop campaign. My son who is in the Army and I only get short periods of time to play so we're not that far yet. What I have seen is wonderful. Crisp graphics and the cut scenes, wow. I want to sit back and just watch those. Great Game so far. Story is a mystery really so far.

A "Budget" Master Cheif
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not the best Halo game. The graphics are great to look at, but it just doesn't "feel" like Halo a lot of the time. If you can get it on sale though, I'd still recommend you check it out.

Pretty fun
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've never been big on Halo. I gave it a go on the next gen system. I liked the idea of being able to play with a 4 player squad on the campaign. I played it a few times but never really caught the bug. I recommend many other games instead of this, unless you're a Halo fanboy.

Great game !
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. To write an honest review the studio responsible for this game could of done a better job in many aspects with the story. That being said it is still a great game and definitely the most beautiful in the Halo series. The colors are just amazing and online play cannot be topped.

Campaign fail. Multiplayer is better.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been a fan of Halo since the original, and I was pumped for this release of course. I was also excited for the hype that 343 was touting about the campaign story. I was thoroughly disappointed. Massively. The story is very contrived, and raises more questions than answers. It's really bad. I did like a few of the levels. Especially the first time you get to play as Chief, that one is fun, and feels a bit like classic Halo. But mostly, it's a giant FAIL. The multiplayer is better, and I hope 343 keeps maps coming because I feel like there is a bit of a shortage in Arena mode at launch. All in all a 3 star, meh, rating. I would recommend to friends only so we can play together, not because I think they would get some great enjoyment out of it on their own.

The BEST Game Franchise period!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Halo 5 is such a masterpiece of a game, with a great Campaign and even better Multiplayer experience!!! Get the game! You will never go wrong with Halo, even if your not a shooter fan. Its cinematic quality and story telling prowess are second to none. Theyre literally wouldn't be an Xbox if werent for Halo.

Great as always
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Newest Halo game fulfills all the fun of past halo titles, but is lacking some important parts. No couch cooperative play and not as a strong single player campaign as Halo 1 through Halo Reach, but still very much worth playing for a Halo fan.

Amazing Multiplayer, Singleplayer is mediocre
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.343 really put a lot of effort in the multiplayer, it is a lot of fun and the req system does not feel like typical microtransactions. The campaign is among the weakest of the Halo campaigns and this game does not become what it is marketed as a battle between Locke and Chief.

Loads of fun!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are going to purchase this game know that the single player is ok but the multiplayer is where it's all at. Might be a bit to competitive for casual players since they kind of revamped the old Halo experience. It's definitely a challenge for the more competitive gamers.
